The PS was enjoyable as the weather is good. It's slightly cold but it's better than hot and humid. I do not know if the photos will turn out well as the PG keep asking me to smile happier when I already did. Anyways..i think he just wants me to open my mouth bigger. So *cross fingers*

For the gowns selection, it's better for you to let them know what kind of gowns that you are looking at as there are so many gowns.

BTW, for those who tot of buying heels for the PS, i think dun waste $. I wore my slippers all the time except for the indoor PS as my hubby is much taller than I am. For Outdoors, dun think it's advisable to wear heels.

Hi all, I have recently placed a deposit with MDW as well. Please share with me your comments on their gowns and PS. Did you get what you see? A bit worried as their models are actors/actresses.

Me and my WTB back from HK. Supposed to shoot 1 day but it rained. So have to shoot 2nd day. It was fun but very tiring. Met 1 Singaporean couple too on the 1st day too.

Hi all,
I bought MDW package in Jan 09 during the wedding fair at suntec. Initially I wanted to go for HK shooting, but now we decided to juz do it in SG (MDW agreed that we can downgrade to the SG package if we change our mind). Our first interview will be in Apr and PS in May. Very excited. So far I have very good experience with MDW. Hope to share and being share info with you all ^^

Heheee not to worry.. as u can see from most of the members here, they've enjoyed their PS alot no matter it's locally or in HKG.

Meantime, u may also search in youtube for MV of some real couple's.. niceee!

So how then on the 1st day? Were u guys actually waiting for the rain to stop, in ur suit n gown?

Zel, yup! I wore slippers all the way as it's really not convenient to wear heels. But when we took Indoor, I wore heels as my hubby is much taller than me.
The day i took my photos, also drizzle a little...just a little. It's really tiring when you have to face the camera and open your eyes for near 12 hours. The PG keep asking to look 'alive' as i was really tired.

Jean (jigglez) - hey congrats in signing up... so when are u planning to take ur PS. Urs would be HK or SG ??? Ur AD in 2010 ?

Btw who was ur coordinator who managed to convince u to take up the package..? should have confidence in them yeah.. (",)
 
Hey there, I'm a BTB and am considering MDW. Went down to understand the package and I must say the service was really good!

My only concern is the photography. I acknowledge that they're all really well taken and good digital enhancement skills too. But noticed that the photos, locations, poses are same for various couples. Do they vary according to your needs?

Also i didn't get to try the gowns, cos no time but saw some of the BTBs trying and noticed that the evening gowns are really kua zhang type.. hope they have something subtle for shy brides like me ;)
 
just like julianan, i also think locations same, poses same, MV same....do u think is ok? scarly, we have good friends, taking same package,same poses etc.. it is going to be embarassed?
 
MV cos same location bah but u can change the song n tell them what type of feel you wanna then maybe they can adjust during the editing
 
hi gals,

i will be going for HK PS by this year end. wanna check with you all, the hairstyling and makeup is usually decided by who? how to determine what suits u better? what if the hairstyle and makeup is not what i like after spending one or two hours, isn't it a waste of time and reduce the hours i can go for the outdoor ps????
 
Hi strawberryberry,

MDW will have an interview with you and understand what kind of makeup and hairstyle you like.. They even have a catalog of hairstyles for you to see.. So don't be worried about these.. Just tell them what you don't like and what you like..
 
hey hippy, ur comment on the deliciousness of strawberryberry almost made me throw out my tea cos i was reading the forum while drinking tea. the comment was so random! hahaha!

hmm.. i was actually offered to swap my trial makeup for my mum's makeup on the AD and i did! altho my HTB did ask if i was making the right decision.. but my mentality is i can always ask the MUA to start light and if i feel its not to my expectation, i can ask her to slowly "edit". hahaha! and i think i haf sufficient confidence in MDW's MUA. Wat do u girls think? shld i risk it? =p
 
strawberry: u can also communicate with the MUA on the day of photoshoot, talk to her to let u understand what is your likes n dislikes. Thats what i did during my photoshoot

hmm... wat happens if what we like actually doesn't suit us? eg those gown we c in mag we like but actually maybe the cut may not suit ourselves? will they highlight/pt out to us and then counter proposal to us the style etc? those who already went for interview , wat's e comments?

Wow!! the thread is moving fast. Din have the time to login over the weekend. Anyway, I heard that Mico seldom do MU nowadays. She is like the boss of MU dept and will assign her staff for the brides. Is this true?

Yea, I placed a deposit during the roadshow.

I tried some of the ROM gowns over the weekend, but din have the time to try AD gowns. They are alright, IMO, tho limited but nicer than some other shops. But, I did see a BTB trying her AD gowns and they are beautiful!! haha..plus she is slim as well, looks nice in everything.

Anyway, I haven decided SG or HK. My consultant is Lydia, she says I can decide later. Settle ROM first, one by one haha..

Yea my AD will be in 2010. I spoke to this Hong Kong lady called Amy. She coaxed me to sign up. Any one spoke to her during the roadshow?
 
Hi Trina, thanks for the information... I was just worried that all the albums look the same... haha. Hmm, I'll probably go and try the gowns this week, and check with them if they do vary the poses and locations cos I will prob not go for the HK PS anyway...
