Hi Miki, MC package is currently valid till Mar06. From the last time i spoke to the coord, if you want to book in advance before their package is released, have to pay an additional $30+++ each table.

I have dealed with aaron personally and my FH and i were rather frustrated because of some hiccups in the process and we were very unhappy over the things. have to "force" him to admit his mistakes. we hope to change coordinator tmrw. wld reommend jennifer cos after readin this forum. but dunno approach, feel a bit paisei.

I have met up with Aaron and true enough tt he had left the Hotel n Andy took over the account. However, we decided not to take up the offer w MC cos they are really rigid in giving perks. Quite disappointed cos I have always like the hotel and ballroom.

Another worry is tt they kept changing coordinator and I scared tt our wedding will not run smoothly then....imagine the amt of $$$ we hv to pay.

i've spoken to Andy.. he's pretty new and can't make much decision. perks are not fantastic and very rigid too.. ask for a change in menu and the price quoted for each change is too much!! really like the ballroom though.. sigh...

I also shortlisted Merchant Court as my venue for my Big Day. Went down to the hotel, seems like sales manager not interested in further negiotiated with us on the package. How is the food there.....?? heard from certain forum that their standard has dropped a lot. what abt service wise.....?? anyone has any idea.....??

I wanted to know more abt their packages, but got a bit disappointed with the staffs......

Anyone has any experience to share...???

Yah, went there....quite sad lor....anyway me found my venue..me settled with furama city centre. the hotel beside MC....the ambience there not bad...ballroom quite nice & with LED lighting...package also not bad.....

A lot of ppl saying merchant court standard dropped already. esp food....which i am very concerned...so i make sure i tell my coordinator that i want the best food on that nite, hehehe.....

Anyway, these are up to individual opinion....feel free to update me on any news...hehe.....we still can discuss on other topic.......hehe

I have just signed up with Merchant Court!

Those interested can contact Swee Lim. She is the sales manager who lias with me after Aaron left and she is quite prompt in replying to emails.

Yes i must admit that they are relatively restrictive in giving out Perks but from what i have heard from many, their service is still good, and food wise, though standard have drop, its still not bad.

MC has a nice ballroom & it is beside the River, away from the bustle of the city.
