Hi Master Tong,

I uds that 100days before ROM and actual day, couples are not encouraged to attend baby shower, others wedding and also funerals..

Is there others occasion that need to be avoided? Like.. Birthday celebrations?

Does it matter if I have my pre wedding photo shoot in September and attend another friend's actual wedding in the same month?

Sorry, another question to clarify. Just got to know my makeup artist is giving birth 1 -2 mths before my wedding date. Is it alright for her to come my house to do makeup for me and attend my wedding banquet too?

Hello Master Tong,

I understand that 2016 is not a good year for tiger to get married. May I know if 2017 is a gd year for tiger (groom) and horse (bride)? Thanks!

Saw your advice for other couples that 2016 actually clashed with Tiger, but
Me and bf is looking at 18th June 2016.. Is it doable with some Auspicious timing or we cannot get married in 2016 at all?

Below are our details:

Groom: 11 June 1982, Dog
Bride: 29 Nov 1986, Tiger
Groom's father was adopted only year is known: 1936, Cow
Groom's mother: 31st Jan 1943, Horse
Bride's father: Im single parent. Does it matter whether i include dad's details?
Bride's mum: 26 Sep 1963, Rabbit

The tong shu for 2016 will only be out in Sept this yr, hence if you looking at general dates, I can only check after it is out. Right now the only way is using bazi to select

Tong Shu for 2016 will only be out ard Aug/Sep this yr. So I can only advise general good dates then. For now, the only way to select is using Bazi, which is more precise and accurate.

19/9 clash Dog, so if none of your parents or your are Dog zodiac then ok. Auspicious timing will be 11-1pm for Guo Da Li

For 29th Nov, auspicious timing for fetch the bride will be 7-9am

Does your "wedding date selection package" includes the advice of auspicious timing on the Actual Day? As in, when to reach the groom's house after fetching the bride etc?

My fiance and I are planning to have ROM in 2015 and Chinese wedding in late 2016.

Both of us are Dragons.. Groom's side parents are Ox and Sheep, Bride's parents are Tiger and Rabbit

Groom: 15 Sept 1988
Bride: 14 Nov 1988

* note that above dates are in western calendar.


1) Can you kindly advise for good dates this year for end of the year for ROM only?

2) Also, how about next year2016 for Chinese wedding?
September 24
October 8
December 10

Understand that you mentioned Tongshu is not out yet for 2016. What does this mean?
However I am very worried as the hotel of my choice is selling out fast for 2016 year end saturdays so I need the best advice for this now... :( :(

Hi sherrykisss

For your ROM, which mth and weekends or weekdays?

There are 2 ways to select day. The general way is using tong shu, but it is not accurate as tons of factors are not considered, so more for generic consumption only and need to wait for tong shu to b out in Aug/sept every yr for the next yr

2nd way is using Bazi, which is more accurate and part of my consultation service. for that we can choose dates for any yr.
