The only general good weekend that dont clash anyone will be 28/12

* Note that these are general tong shu dates only, and both Bazi (birth data) are not taken into consideration. A good date in the tong shu can still be considered bad if the date and Bazi are not compatible *

The 2014 tong shu will only be out in aug/sept this year, hence the only way to choose now is using bazi. Tong Shu dates will have to wait till it is out

That day doesnt clash to anyone, but will have to wait till Aug/Sep for the tong shu to be out in order to check if it is a general good date or not. Right now the only way to select is using both your Bazi

Dear Master Tong, for the tradition of not going to each other's wedding within 3 months, what if the one of them has ROM more than 3 months before n is only throwing banquet dinner? Does it mean we can attend each other's wedding? Thanks

22/2 is a super bad day for wedding

1/3 clashes to Ox which is none of you. Will hv to wait till tong shu out to check if that is a general gd date or not

I will be holding my ROM on 6th July'13. My HTB n me did not consult anyone for the date. Does it necessary to pick an auspicious date for ROM? As for my actual day will be around end of the year.

Yes you need a good date for rom as that is the most important date for wedding. That is the official date both of you become husband n wife, not the customary wedding day

If you looking at generic dates, the tong Shu for 2014 will only be out in sept this year, so can only check then. Right now have to use bazi to select

13/12 is in the Po Yue, bad month for wedding , not advisable to use this date for wedding :)

Yes as a general guide, stove and sink cannot be directly opposite each other. Fire and water clash and will result in health problems . How bad will have to see onsite to measure the direction first then can tell.

As bride is born rat yr, by right 2014 horse yr will clash her and not a good yr for wedding. Not sure if you can wait till 2015 :)

Dear Master Tong,

We have been given the date Mar 29th, 2014 Saturday for our ROM, ceremony and dinner.
I just found out that Ching Ming will be Apr 5th and people normally start 10 days earlier. Hence in another word, our wedding will clash with Ching Ming. Does it matter actually? I feel uncomfortable about it.
 
Naturally after wedding day, it's has been a loooong time since I logged in here. Forum page has changed, as so long never logged in until I forgot my old id/password, and have to create a new one.

Anyway, just to share that after a year of trying to conceive, I followed David's advice and moved house. Now, my second one is due this July!!! We had the luxury of rebuilding the house from scratch. From the initial house-hunting (David told us to die die find house to face certain direction), to the layout of the house. we all consulted him.

Now here's is the shocking part...............

a couple of months ago, I was in HK for a trip. My friends recommended me to this famous tarot card-reading master. And so I went to kaypoh. Sat down, told to shuffle a deck of cards. Showed my cards on the table. All the while I did not say anything. The master started with the first card and said " Your new house, is very very good. Keep it. It is built with the elements of fengshui."

I was like "What the.....??" How did he know?

Anyway, he went on to decipher the rest of the cards of my life. All were accurate.

The morale of the story: David's advices are good!

Yes usually I won't give dates that period. Usually 10 days before Qing Ming is sweep tomb period, so that period we avoid choosing dates for wedding. Whoever choose for you should understand all these Chinese culture , cannot choose blindly.

2014 horse yr clashes to Rat, hence a bad yr for groom to get married in. 2015 is Goat yr, bad for Ox. Hence 2013 will be the best yr, else 2016!

I see from this webpage - 30/11/2014 (http://www.zdic.net/nongli/2014-11-30.htm) and 13/12/2014 (http://www.zdic.net/nongli/2014-12-13.htm) that both seems to be Po Ri or Po Yue. How do we determine?

I wanted to get married on 30/11 but my mother insist on 13/12.
