Mascara - Pls recommend your fav. brand

I've bought dejavu fibrewig from SASA.. kinda disappointed with it.. cos when i apply the mascara after i curled my lashes with the eyelash curler, the mascara actually straighten the lashes again. Wasted my efforts in curling them.. it does have fibres that will "attach" to your lashed to make it look longer but it difficult to make it look even, i.e. you'll have some short and some long lashes.

but then again the pro is that it will not cause panda eyes. As i have oily eyelids, even the waterproof mascaras doesn't work for me. At the end of the day, the lower lids will have a dark patch, even worse then dark eye circles. sometime even after half a day if i didn't curl my lashes "high" enough.. haha.


Another thing is, when i bought the dejavu fibrewig, the sales person recommended the Mavala "thing" to me, saying that it will lengthen and improve the growth of lashes.. Has anyone tried this product? Its selling at $16+.
 


the sales girl was promoting fiberwing to me (she was wearing it) but actually she looked a bit scary to me because it was thick and clumpy.Not sure if it's the way she put it but it turned me off the brand.
 
Hi felicia, i tried the double lashes (i think it's call) for me, i think it reali works only abt 3 days, i realised my lashes longer

I opt for Lancome and HR(Japan brand). Lancome L'Extreme is good to lengthen the lashes without clumps and HR Vertiginous 108 is good for thickening while help with lengthening too.
 
Not too sure if I can help, I am a big fan of mascara, like to try different brands.. these few are my recommendations..

Majolica marjoca maximum Lash - curls even without using curlers
Cyber colors lash blooming mascara - volumes and lengthening
Palgantong mascara - volumes and lengthening
L'oreal volume shocking - super volume but one minus point.. damn difficult to remove!!
Cineora mascara - not as volumising as the previous few but very attractive packaging
Max factor 2000 - volumes
Fibrewig - Lengthening, not so volumizing but guarantee smudgeproof
Anna Sui Volume - as the brand says.. volumes
 
Talking about doublelash, sure works well for me. My lower lashes got so long, my friends thought they were fake.
 
Anyone interested to buy electronic eyelash curler?
It has magnetic field which helps to promote growth.
In 5sec, ur lash will curl beautifully and naturally.
This is a better alternative to normal eyelash curler.

i love using mascaras - currently using majolica majorca 15x expander & am trying lash stylist by maybelline... both works well for me in terms of lengthening & volumising !

anyone can share about anna sui or lancome or YSL mascaras? which one is better for lengthening n curling effect? Also whether it is water proof or easy to remove?

ive tried ysl and lancome but not anna sui which i tot of buying these few days. ysl tends to smudge though ive got dry eyes but like their volumising effect..

Can you share whether lancome smudge cos i got watery eyes so mascara smudge easily for me. But I quite like majolica brand. it doesnt smudge and last whole day for me

No, it won't smudge. But I suggest u pop by Lancome counter & give it a try first. After all, its $40+ per tube
 
Hello everyone

I have a problem with mascaras. They will let me have panda eyes even the ones i'm using are waterproof.

I love to put on mascara as they will open up my eyes but i hate the panda eyes effect. It will appear after half a day or after a day of work. Is this because i have oily skin around my eye area?

Does anyone has a better recommendation of the mascara that i should try out?

u can try fasio n majorlica cos i also tend to smudge under my eyes after a few hrs but not when im using the above 2

Where can i get Majorlica mascara?

I'm not too sure too.. I got it from a spree organised by pple in singaporemotherhood.com. They bot it from taiwan. I wish i can get one more....

thks for the info.. ive chked it out.. am planning to do eyelash ext. if it doesnt work out for me then i will but the shiseido mascara.. its cheaper then anna sui or lancome huh..

very very good!!!!

lengthens and separates without smudging...
and i'm very clumsy ones.
so this stuff rocks.
 
I used Maybelline Volume XXX. Very good and not too expensive..only $19.90 from pharmacies.

Has a white fibre end for base coat and upon applying the black mascara, it really lengthens your eye-lashes

I vote for Maybelline Volume Turbo Boost waterproof, very volumising! Doesn't weigh down lashes too. No smudge.
Maybelline XXL is very lousy though, only see lengthening, not much volume.
 
Love Majorca Majolica, dramatically lengthens without smudging, last for the whole day till night, very good indeed.
 
i recently just bought a clinque curling mascara, i find it pretty good and you dun nid to use makeup remover to remove it just water will do. very convenient.
 
I just bought this amazing tube of majolica mascara which claims to lengthen lashes 120% at a pushcart at suntec near Mango. OMG it really works, i can skip fake lashes for function and the best part is no smudge n last whole day long. so glad the product is finally here! Ive tried lancome, maybelline and loreal which serve me pretty well but I must this is the best so far.

I'm using maxfactor mascara masterpiece maximum volume and I like it .. but it's not waterproof and it's raining here a lot (Netherlands:S) uhm.. there is a mascara I forgot the name but it's from Rimmel Extreme Definition Ultimate Lash-Separating Mascara I liked that one pretty mutch too..
 
maybelline maybelline maybelline......its the best mascara on the planet.I use it for length and volume too.. colossal volume is my fave then xxl pro 24 hour bold and volume express and lash stylist i've tried these and love them.. but you have sooo many other options to choose from.for length for extra volume.Amazing really!!!

My favourite is The Face Shop's "FACE it" styling mascara. All the previous ones I used always ended up smudging badly. I've used TFS's one for years (previously it was called "greatist" i think)
