that is one of your choice, but becoz i will only get my keys somewhere in beginning oct, and the thought of clearing the "mess" after our biggest day, feel kind of tiring =P I'm a lazy gal, ha ha

totally agree. is how each couple dream of their wedding. initially I want it at fullerton hotel.. that is the place FH proposes and that is my dream wedding place.. but somehow I can't have it fulfill for my ROM and wedding dinner.
just curious, are you the boss or a coordinator for trulyharmony? well. maybe a day will come and i may need your services. =P my AD is more or less settled, like the bridal package and dinner venue.. just my ROM is troubling me. and if i really got a chalet, may need some decorations..

Yeah! How come can't have it at Fullerton? I had my engagement at Fullerton and it was a wonderful experience. Maybe you can consider a function room at Fullerton for ROM? Or even a restaurant there? Or even solemnization in a hotel room at Fullerton then have a meal at one of the restaurants within the hotel? These are all workable!

Really??!!?? so coincidence.. that is really a dream come true when FH propose there in a hotel room.. i had confirm my dinner venue, well i will not be able to survive if i get their dinner package.. =P
I'm also not sure what went wrong. had spoken to their wedding group for few times with differnt persons. and FH and me was trying to source all ways till the extent of booking a hotel room and place a table, but room cannot hold too many ppl or balcony is too small and got to book 2 rooms.. really a disaster when I called them few times.. maybe it boils down to me not a good planner =P
also their package, from what i remember, is either 80 persons minimum for their ROM package. I don think we have this much persons inviting for a fullerton ROM.
truthfully, also don know where went wrong when i just cannot my ROM in fullerton.. probably is the cost. if we have lot of budget, we can definitely have it there!

i prefer house-warming as house-warming.. ROM as ROM.. hee hee.. in a way, I'll get 2 gifts too ha ha..just kidding =P

Hey, Mari & Miki, my husband's colleague had solemnization at fullerton for less than 80 pax. 80 pax is for straits room only. You can check out their smaller rooms. GPO and EDB rooms. They take 3 or 5 tables (can't recall which is for which). The hotel coordinator who helped me with the engagement party has resigned but I'm sure you can enquire with the team there. I think Desmond may still be there. My coordinator was Diana Lee. She left Fullerton sometime in June 2006.
As for hotel room booking, you can book the Loft.. which has a staircase leading up from level 1 to bedroom. You shoudl be able to accomodate 25 pax there... solemnization on level 1... your guests can surround the solemnization table and those who can't see can stand on the staircase? Just thinking out of the box for you...

It'll help alot if you can form an idea of your estimated guest list. Remember, you don't have to ask fullerton for a solmenization package. Cos they will definately suggest Straits Room. You can ask them if they have any package for social function. Or else, work from the wedding package and exchange for stuff. That's what I did. I used the wedding package for Straits Room and turned it into an engagement package.

Its has been known that marriage certificates are required at many places, but some time its not so simple just to apply with it. But Certificate is important..
