I will be having my solemnization with them. They told me mic can be arrange. But the room pretty small for mic. There might be echo when using mic.
It really depend on your JP. If he wants, mic can be arranged.

Hello! I'm considering MM vanda ballroom now too. But my only barrier now before I sign is the low ceiling. Cos my htb is tall and I'm just worried that he'll look really odd!!
Anyway how's the food at MM? Is prepared by their banquet chef right?

Did you manage to go in and have a look at the ballroom? We requested to visit the empty ballroom before signing.
Food wise, I have read the reviews and most is on positive side. Yupps, it is prepared by their specialise banquet chef. Only the serving drinks portion is too slow. Need kept on remind them to serve.

Yeah we did visit the ballroom. How many tables did u have? Was it squeezy or any tables blocked by the pillars?

To me, I find their food not thay nice hence didn't sign up there but mandarin oriental food is damn good but too exp
The ballroom on level 1 can fit alot of tables. Company had an event there previously and had more than 50 tables. Spacious and no pillar so view was good. Just that theres no high ceiling

I attended wedding in this ballroom a couple of times. Depends on how many tables you have. 24tables thereabout seems ok. Food wise im not sure who prepare it. Lol

I planning to have 23 to 25 tables. Pillars ah, I think they have 2 small mirror pillar. As long as below 25 it is not squeezy. the coordinator say if reach 30 it is super cramp and the environment will feel less elegant.

I am currently planning my January 2017 wedding and would be interested in holding it at Marina Mandarin. The thing is, i can't seem to get anyone from their team to drop me an email with regards to my queries. Can anyone probably pass me the email address of their co-ordinator so I can contact them directly? I am holding a Malay/Muslim wedding and I know MM has such a menu just that I want to talk to someone directly to get more info. Thank you!

Yup, signed with them already but my coordinator told me that the room is small and so don't need to provide mic. But I will have videographer that day so I thought having a mic will be better and clearer.. Nvm, I will try asking again! Thanks for the reply

25 to 30 tables.
Optimum amount is 25 tables. 30 will be super cram and sides wont be able to view the projector

You can try email them and ask. Every year have different perks. Try to ask if they can extend the new perks to you if you confirm early^^

I just did my dinner at MM Vanda ballroom over the weekend, I had a total of 22 tables so there were comfortable space to walk around, and we avoided the positions that would have been blocked by pillars. We were concerned about the low ceiling initially but when the decors were up and the hall packed with ppl, actually it felt quite cosy and nice
My coordinator was Sen (Ng) and she did a tremendous job to advise us on the best options and ensured that everything went smoothly.
For services wise, we were very lucky that as we were the only couple holding a dinner event that night, thus there were sufficient experienced crew. Service was relatively prompt and dinner ended within 2.5hrs.
On the whole, we were pleased with service, food and ambience. Hope this comes in useful for those considering MM

My coordinator is male. Very cute uncle with lots of experience. We decided on MM due to the perks. Free flow wine and 21st table free.

The pushy one I faced is orchard marina. The coordinator cannot stop emailing us after we rejected them.

I didn't experience any pushy sales either. What I like about MM is that they are not only prompt in their reply, they will always do follow up (1 week after the viewing).. which is good!
For my case, went to view MO ballroom but sales coordinator didn't bother to follow up at all :/

Yup francis has been great so far! I also booked Vanda Ballroom, prefer a smaller and more cosy setting

MM ballroom seems fine though, thought it was high enough. Vanda ballroom is the one that has lower ceiling but seems fine to me, since I wanted a smaller setting.

I didnt see the Vanda ballroom though... but i like the big foyer area that MM ballroom has... so i guess pros n cons... when is your AD?
