You remember there is this pink fluffy heart band to hold the napkins in the sweetheart theme....

My coordinator say that fluffy heart band can be use as a wedding favor. And the blings in Dazzle theme is arranged at an additional cost or as a wedding favor? Not sure yet, she say props not in yet wor.

Actually the perks they give not much lor, whatever they can give its already in the standard package and the standard package already not bad. Just that they are pretty rigid on anniversary stays.

Package is available in their website. 2011 price is up already.

my wedding is after jun 2011, hahahah....so dazzle is in my considerations. dream is nice lor, the stones in the centrepiece bowl glows!

I went to the showcase and Love the dazzle theme lotz!! The Coordinator call me up this noon and check if we would like to confirm a date coz we plan to hold it on Nov/Dec 2011... but auspicious dates not out yet...So still considering if i shld place the deposit and fixed a date first as currently dec weekends are almost fully booked...

Dear all, I'm kinda desperate!! About to confirm my AD with MO for dec 2010~~!! The problem is I am based overseas and will not be able to view the ballroom before I get home (end nov). However, looking at the glowing remarks that everyone have been giving MO, I can only assume and trust that it is good? Have chosen MO because it seems like the only hotel that I can trust in terms of food/ambience (had my secondary school prom there.... like 10 years ago...and it was a beauty..) I can only assume they have improved much much more since then?? Anyone car to share perks with me for weekday night?? |Possible to get free flow beer or free taste testing??

Don't worry, MO is great in term of food and service.

How many tables do you have? Generally, they are quite strict with their perks unless you book during their Wedding show, you can still negotiate a bit here and there.

For 16-17 tables, you can only use the Atrium Suite and for Wedding at the Atrium Suite, it's not possible to get complimentary food tasting. At most they will give you a 50% discount.

if i'm looking at 20 -25 tables, will I be able to negotiate for the Oriental ballroom? Or I can only choose the Atrium suite?

Are you holding your banquet on a weekday or weekend?

Atrium Suite can only take 15-20 tables.

For Oriental Ballroom, you would need a minimum of 30 tables (Mon-Thur) and 35 tables (Fri-Sun).

I think for 20-25 tables, it's very unlikely to negotiate for the Oriental Ballroom. They are very strict. But, you can still try.

Just to share with all those who are contemplating on MO. Don't hesitate. They are really good. Although their price is rather steep, the food is definitely worth the price and their service is good.

Tip is, if you are nice to the events coordinator and try to nudge them abit to give you slightly more things, they would actually be nice to add in for you as extra favours.

I've signed up with them for my luncheon in June! Looking forward to it.

Am considering MO as i know they have excellent service and food.....can attest for that after attending two weddings there...though price is a little steep..

Some feedback that i've gathered today after a brief tour:
1. They can cater to smaller number of tables.....from 10-35 they can have the various themes in the suites according to the number of tables you want.

2. Excellent service. I went to take a look see today and a staff showed us around....love the harbour view room and esp the pool....im hoping to have my solemnisation at the veranda beside the pool....anyone done it there before?

by the way, the person who provided some advice on having an ROM at the pool was actually the assistant manager at the italian restaurant beside the pool! talk about service!

im glad u enjoyed oriental service too.. durin the weddin show, the guy who showed us is an exec senior accountant in MO! they all work very happili tog it seems!

price is steep but after i test market wif my famili & frens.. jus to guage wat the angbao amt wld b lk.. hehe! i think i am pretty safe as they all noe oriental is a premium 5* hotel =)
