yup, we had a sea view facing marina side so we had complete view of fireworks. at times, it felt like e fireworks were coming rite at us! quite fun..

my hubby packed some clothes, toiletries and my bikini for me and checked in before waiting at the lobby to surprise me.=P

I didn't get to try the pool cos we were late for our massgaes i think...but they look nice...if i rem correctly, they do provide bikinis, if not bikinis then at least something for u to cover up in the pool. but i tink for hygiene reasons, you may just want to bring ur own..
n they have very sexy showers, no door one..haha..my shy girlfriend was trying to cover up as best as she cld n choose the last stall. well, they come in individual stall with rain shower but there's no doors..

Err... I don really like Carrefour thingy loh. At least go to those photo shop like Cathay photos to get yourself a small professional tripod, i.e slik, manfrotto stuff. Those in Carrefour look fragile loh... Maybe alex is right also, get something which is more stable than your hand will works too. A pro ones will last longer than plastic ones!

Or u wanna to borrow my Machine gun tripod??? Kekeke.... it can support a 6kG telescope too.

I stayed at Taman Harum Cottages near Ubud. It's in Mas actually. Very peaceful place..the villa we stayed face the padi fields directly n can see Mt Agung in a distance.

I like the weather now in Bali.. daytime sunny but not too humid... n nighttime it gets cooling n breezy... like in the genting minus fog...

I'll upload the arrange the pics soon. Pai seh for the delay people... thanks for the concerns.

Racha is at an island outside of phuket town. from phuket airport, 40 mins car ride to chalong bay jetty. Then another 40 mins speed boat to racha island.

The weather here is kinda bad in my region. I live in the "mountains" and the weather is generally a couple of degrees colder than most places lor.

I used to love cold weather but having been here for so long, i really really miss sunny singapore.

Your hubby stunt tough to beat...lucky never ask my wife to visit this thread. hahaha...hmmm, guess gotta make fireworks in Maldives in order to top it. Hahaha.....

No fishes?? No no, lagoon is good cos no sharp corals. Sure have lots of fishes still just not so many of those colourful ones you find in coral beds. The last time in Club Med Kani also the same, not much corals but lots of fishes....got shark too.

Actually now when reviewing my pics then I saw quite a number of R(A), those male ones especially! Hahaha....
Prosumer cam is still prosumer cam, it's hard to compete with the entry DSLR even. FZ50? Get a D50 can take better pics then the prosumer one(in my opinion lah), and I think the panasonic FZ series is not much cheap either.
If u wanna to choose a convenient cam, can consider the Canon S3 IS, it's a good choice with a very wide range of 3rd party extension lenses(super wide angle, zoom etc..)
If u got good budget, get the canon 30D or Nikon D200, if not try to aim for the D80(lots of upgrade from D70s)... bigger high Res LCD, 5fps, 10.2 MP and more...

Then for the wedding songs hor... I got no clues, until my SIL recommends us Chris de burgh's "So beautiful", me and my wifey immediately choose it as the march in song cum MTV songs. Don't remember anyone has use this songs for march in..
I got a the MTV here with the songs, see whether u like the idea.

Then 1st dish one can try Ronan Hardiman's "Anthem" album songs, songs like new age type of songs.... I find it quite nice.
Then other dishes can use light music from artist such as Bandari or Jeffrey Michael....very nice and smoothing music for dinner.

The Line has fantastic food. I m also not a buffet person cos i dun eat alot at one go and usually buffet fare so so only, except that you have a lot of choices. But the line is really impressive. of cos nice decor and all makes the experience even nicer. There are 16 stations, each one specialising in different type of food. There's a jap Sashimi counter, italian, chinese dimsum & dishes, cold seafood, noodles, salad bar very stylish one.., indian, ice cream, deserts...etc. Almost 98% of the stuff I tried was nice..with the exception of the chive dumpling which fell apart when i pick it up, the rest was jus yummy, esp the fresh pasta!! My biz aq had 19 fresh oysters at one go! haha..Abit pricy at 43+++ per head, but well..the co. paid for it..

We got there around 7 plus and I had the massage & scrub, so by the time we were all done with the treatments, it was close to 10pm. Plus the time we spent snacking and catching up, it was already close to their closing time. Think we left the place at 11.15pm...heee...so didn't get to try the pool, plus all of us didn't bring bikinis and didn't realise they provide bikinis there. By the time we found them next to the pool, it was close to 11pm. so tats why we didn't get to try it..

wat kind of music do you like? easier for us to help u if u let us know mah. eg jazzy kind, classical? me & hb spent hundreds of $ on CDs just to pick music for the wedding...abit crazy..but worth it i think..at least we played some pieces not common in weddings.

From my understanding, a prosumer cam is just between compact cam and a DSLR. It got some DSLR function(mainly manual mode) plus ease of use of a compact digital cam.
Hahaha...as what I say to Mish, if u wanna to relax and at the same time take great pics, buy one as present for your hubby and let him do the job! kekekek.....
Haizz.....no luck in toto lah. However we got 2 factory operator from Malaysia ganna 1st prize, share among 2 of them. They bought system 7, so each will get around 1/2 mil!!! So bloody lucky!
Anyway, I also ganna a small one lah, bigsweep the 4D prize game, won $60. Better than nothing!

Hey lagoon is nice...no corals but careful on those rays.... (When I walk in a lagoon, I drag my feet instead of lifting up and step, and that's with booties, it's recommend)

no lah..not a food critic thou it'll be a nice job to have. I do mktg & PR, so s'times will have to bring clients out for meals...so get to try new stuff once in a while. One time we dine so often at crystal jade resturant at Taka that jus mentioning the name crystal jade, i wanna puke..
abt a mth ago i dined at this thai resturant at Ngee Ann City, the one next to sanur..they serve very good food..n i go there every once in a while but dunno why on my last visit, i ended up with very severe food poisoning..was down for 1 week. never had such bad food poisoning b4 in my life..thou the resturant called to aplogize, also never follow up with their promise to investigate...but alas..my doc told me if i choose to eat salted fish, i shldn't blame the cook..which is true lah..

ahaha...u so funny..think u r the dream wife any man wants to have..so nice let him rest and u keep the house clean n feed him. i am the evil wife, always trying to get my hb to work his ass and clean the house wif me. but i do enjoy cooking, so i'll make sure he's fed well on WEs.
