i had my wedding dinner in JB recently, just to share experience with you: initially i was like kan-cheong spider... asking around for someone to do makeup and hair for me, but too ex to get from SG leh. Then my sister-in-law (who stays in JB) gave me a very good idea. She helped me do my makeup (which is the easier part) then helped me source for a salon to do the hair... so she found one not too chin-cheong. In the salon, we check with the boss the price for a dinner hairdo first, so they don't overcharge when they hear 'wedding'. costs me only RM$30.
 
Anyone have any makeup artist to recommend in Johor? I will be having one of my Banquet dinner in Yong Peng, currently looking for a makeup artist near that area.

Have u spoken to them b4? As u know, i went there 2 yrs ago, dunno whether is the same lot of people... cannot comment leh... But, last tm ok lor. The make-up and hairstyle a bit kua zhang lor... :D Photography so-so only.

You should try those that are more reputable like milan,santiago or printemps...

Desperately seeking for more info on preparations in M'sia. Can't understand chinese and difficult to locate for info. I look for place to order the GDL biscuits also could not find... don't even know where to print cards ....haii.... anyone knows a good link...?? lookign at this link.. despresssing HOWEVER I would give thousands of thumbs up for this forum on the Spore portion.

I have a M'sian freelance planner helping me as I'm always travelling btw Sing, M'sia & China. She's a qualified make up artist as well as a florist. Does co-ordination & professional Emcee service too. She's based in KL but arranges for weddings out station too. Not exactly sure but you can ask her. my fren juz had his wedding in jb...the videographer & photographer quite good...i can recommend if anyone interested...
