JTS bad experience with Dreamweavers

Hi all btbs

Am going to share my bad experience with Dreamweavers.

First we emailed them to schedule an appointment to meet them to discuss on the wedding invites.
We asked a few questions but none of our questions have been answered in their email instead they brush
us off with forms to fill up only. (This just goes to show that they just want to get things over and done with it)

Emailed them again and ask for a timing to meet and yet again no date was given to us and this time round we pull our hotel coordinator into the picture and FINALLY we manage to secure a date to meet them in June.

Months later, we got a message from Eunise saying that we have to reschedule our appointment due to Dreamweaver has a wedding showcase at some hotel. SERIOUSLY? We have already fixed our appointment way beforehand and how could they reschedule our appointment for their convenience sake. That shouldn't be the case as we are the paying customers!

Feedback to our hotel and in the end we managed to secure our appointment.

When June arrives, we were actually quite hesitant in using their printing service after time after time bad experience with them but in the end we thought of giving them a chance and also it does save us the hassle of finding another vendor to print the wedding inserts for us.

Now, clearly we were utterly wrong to trust them. 50% deposit made but nothing done.
Sent them an email no reply. No acknowledgement nothing after two days.
Only when I sent in an complaint email to them and immediately we got a reply.

The reply goes like this

Dear Sherlyn,

Good afternoon.

I was in back to back meetings yesterday and missed your email.

I have pass you my name card during the meeting with my personal mobile number so that you can contact me directly in case I’m not at my desk or out of office.

No word of sorry and what's more she is a managing director!
Instead of being sorry she pushed the blame to us for not dropping her a message.
I don't understand why do we have to remind her by message her or calling her on her mobile when she could just check her emails and get back to us. Meetings is just an excuse!
They are in the service line and how could they not reply to their customers' emails.
Emails in a way are their source of earnings isn't it.

In the end, we decided to drop them off and asked for a refund.
Was told they will let us know when they sent out the cheque by next week which is supposed to be today (24/6/2016) AGAIN no email nothing.
Empty promise from them.

My advise to btbs' hotels that are tied to their service to reconsider about using them.
Firstly, their printing are costly.
80cents per side printing.
It cost us $1.60 to print a wedding card with them and the designs are limited.
Though in the end we paid more to do our cards at least the design are much nicer than dreamweavers.

Hello! I'm with Dreamweavers because it's tied to my hotel banquet too.

My appointments and emails exchanges with them/ her so far have been quite smooth and prompt.

Wonder why yours went the other way.

Hopefully can get your refund soon!

Hi sharlyn,
I second you on that and also had very bad service and printing experiences dealing with them . As usual, dreamweavers were tied to my hotel and we had to use them.
Every single email that I sent took minimal 3 days for a reply. I usually have to call them.
They initially sent me an timeline for choosing of designs, confirmation of artwork and approval and final delivery date. Of which I naturally followed and was very prompt in all our decisions and selections. Our requirements were very clear and to the point. We only made 1 minor change in the card text and reverted the ONE required change within 24hrs from receiving artwork. In the end they say that their "volume" of artwork is too much and delayed our production and eventual delivery date of cards. Customers are suffering for their incompetence in meeting date lines set by themselves in the first place?
Card selections were very limited also.
I really don't see the need for brides to go through all these...

Hi Ladies! JTS our experience with Dreamweavers too! It's also a tied up with our hotel and I read some not so positive reviews and was quite worried initially, but the overall experience was pretty good!

Our meeting with Jerine was overall pleasant, she was professional and patient and went through all the card designs and favors with us and it was quite a large selection I would say..

Our cards were ready ahead of time + a free upgrade (although I'm quite sure there's no free lunch but... )

Collected our cards just this week and they were really pretty!

One thing I agree will be their cost. It's really on the high side.

Hope the rest of the btbs will have a good or better experience with them!
