Ideas & Advice (Reception in a Condo Function Room)

Dear All,

My fiance and I have been scratching our head on where should we hold our wedding (ROM) reception. Initially we wanted to do it in a hotel but both of us felt that we should do something unique (and more cost savings if possible).

Just so happen, his brother's new Condo will be ready in last quarter of 2016 and thus we decided to make use of the "very newly build" Condo area as our reception. However, both of us are very bad in any of the other plannings. We do not know what else we need to do/source. I only know that we need to get someone to help us decorate, we need to get caterer, etc.

Please throw me your ideas! Greatly appreciate.

Plan some games and activities. If u gave the budget there are wedding planners who can help you do those. Otherwise, think of some 'stage games', photo booth, dance or live band performance at ur event

I have a question...

In the event that i hold the solemnization in a condo function room with buffet, how do we write the invitation card in a way such that people are not inclined to underestimate (pay too little) angbao money?

Will it be appropriate to have gate crash at function room because I scared it will be too noisy for the neighbours at 7am..and my corridor isn't so wide like the hdb...

I think is alright to hold in function room. But function room usually is all glass wall, can see the bride from far liao. Sometimes there are 2 rounds of gatecrash, one at the house gate, the next one will be the bedroom door.
Generally, people are okay with a short while of noise, especially is for a big, happy occasion. Maybe you can let your neighbour know in advance. I do see in some footages that pple do it at the carpark before going up.

PS. Pls inform bridesmaids not to go overboard.
