hi missysee, on my AD on the 22 Nov 09, hilton gave us a helper's room to be use from 1pm to 9pm ( FOC ) but we intend to give it to my HTB siblings for them to use it overnight until the next day check out and the price for it is $220.

hi missysee, u should ask your coordinator about helper room, if u dun have helper, at least can let your friends or siblings or parents rest in the afternnon before dinner
 
ya they gave me a helper's room le. After being Jie Mei for a couple of gfs, I find the helper's room useful but inconvenient as we got to share with the Bros or even their parents. So I thought of having another day room or request two overnight rooms for my parents and In-Laws. but the rates are pretty high yah?

no lar... u can check with ur coordinator on wat she can offer u lor... 1 table cost about $900-$1000...and the favours only amount to $400 (if we go by $1/pc x 400 pax)

hi odod, for the pg , u can try mindy photography, she can be nego easily. as for the favour, u should take up the hilton favour because it cannot exchange you for other things , do consider
 
hi gals, from now until the end of the year, in this forum there will be three of the members getting hitched, next month is stella, november is me and december is saggie. Hope the preparation is in the advance stage

this weekend freegoer gg to buy mooncakes for my parents and celebrate my mama's bday (however not at marina area coz road closure due to F1 racing)... next weekend buy GDL items @ chinatown... and prepare for the ceremony on 21/11... next next 2 weekends start to write invites.... and start to mail them out for those frens... finally end of Oct... 1st meetup with helpers to go gai gai for outfits at far east plaza (which used to be my fav haunt in my younger days)...

Hehehe..mi this wkend have to continue my packing again to move to my hubby place..next week fri, collect wedding portrait and album, followed by Sat will be GDL and Sun will be jiemeis meeting up..Phew !~ Then Mon will be having rehearsal with Hilton..COunting down to another 10 days from then..busy busy

hmmm.. just realized that there was a wedding show at hilton early sept, r the coordinators supposed to inform us (those who have oredi signed with hilton)? coz i missed once mah... so wanted to attend lo..
and do we need to see the actual decor of our chosen theme in the actual room b4 our AD? coz maybe i wan to add on something or wat? coz we chose the theme based on their photos only rite...
 
hi i just met up with the pansy today ,to discuss on the wedding dinner . Guess wat she is so nice to gif us one box of mooncake !! so shocked to see her carry it around .. we choose our theme and our gifts. so excited we are gg for our photo shoot soon . hi greentea u can c the actual decors in a room

My wedding banquet is on 4 Jan 2010. Anyone having a wedding banquet on weekdays? I'm a bit worried about the attendance...
 
jen > think shd be okie if u dun drag ba. i had a friend who held her dinner on wkday n dragged till 11 plus. evyone was complaining cos they hv to work the next day.

Hi ladies, I went to my fren's wedding last sat. Their red & black theme was fantastic. Very classy. I love their Hilton cheese cake = )

Hilton has done a good job. 3 cheers to them = )

for me my wedding is on Sunday. Hopefully can start early if not on time ba ...next day ppl still nd to work (although kids will be on sch hols)...

For us, we will not start too late. Most ppl turn up late for wedding banquet. Last sat, the dinner started ard 8.50pm cos of the guests. Will tell my guests to come before 8.15pm cos that will be the latest time we going to start dinner
 
oh yes, the dry ice smoke created by the movable machine is cool... The effect is good.. I saw it during last sat.

Which theme would u be choosing? I will be gg for my food tasting next week. As my evening gown is bright red colour, think i will have to avoid the red and black theme. Btw Ling, do you have a multiply account? My id is wakeup2asmile.

My concern is i worried about the attendance for a weekday banquet. Worried that there might be some no show. when's yr wedding date? I could not get the sunday banquet so i have to book Monday instead
