It's not this design. I only have 7 diamonds around the ring and the design is different tho I love Tiffany's ring! :P

yes its possible. We had ours made for $1.1k... both rings with a princess cut diamond and in champange and black gold.

I have gone down to fairy inc and saw they have this really nice ring with two rows of diamonds all round the ring and its really sparkles. The total carat is about 2 carat. Any idea how much is this ring? I have forgotten to ask for a quote.
 
hihi, I was trying to seive through the archives to find a link to the fairy inc's website or adress... but kinda difficult. Can someone post the address or website again? I'm interested to custom make my ring, finger a bit plump. the conventional rings are not really pretty

I think their website only have their contacts. No pics of the rings they have or what so ever. Its better to go down to have a look
 
yah, finally found the website... www.fairysinc,com. but they only have 1 picture that's all *grin* will be gg down to take a looks. sounds fantastic by the way you guys are going on and on about it *beam* I showed my FH bout this site he's also drooling over the possibility of spending less and getting a nice customised ring for our wedding... guys

Hi ladies..

Any idea if we need to place a deposit for our rings the first time we go down to discuss the design and other stuff? If yes..how much?

Going down with my partner to let him take alook at fairy's inc rings and design and hopefully be pleased with the outcome!!

if u are there merely to look at their rings and design, no deposit is required unless you have confirmed you are doing with them?

Me looking at full eternity( champagne+ white gold). Fiance's would be champagne + white gold (kiv some design). Both bands internal would be champagne. And still considering whether to do embossing or engraving as the price don differ much.

Actually, went down to Soo Kee just now. They have full eternity as well but the cut of the ring is much coarser. Still thinking whether Fairy's Inc over charging lei. COs they quote us 2k plus wor. But we can personalise our bands and no one else will have the same, that's one of the plus factor lol.Any advice??

So wat bout you?? Wat design you looking at??

2k plus for both rings? I have not asked them for quote yet. Am looking at yellow gold fused with champagne plus rose gold i think. Cannot really remember :P.

I been to a few shops but i still feel fairy inc rings are more unique and the diamonds seems more sparkly!

Yap they quoted us 2k+ for both bands...THe moment i saw Fairy's inc, I was drawn to the shop! Totally agree that they're rings are more unique but not too sure bout the diamonds though...Well least we can get any design we fancy and not be limited like in the usual kinda jewellery shops out there. BUt guess it depends on wat each individual couple want to go for.

SOme feel like the wedding band should last a lifetime, some feel that they are not going to wear it for long anyway cos the fingers are going to get too big as they put on weight. I feel that its worth investing abit more for something we fancy cos anyway its our wedding bands! Its a symbol of our marriage. But guess most imptly, its the relationship that really matters!....

Have you been down to Fairy's inc yet? Me fiance and I would be going down tomoro to confirm our designs...yipee!! At least another load off..den can start on other stuff....See if can get a pic of the similar designs.

Hi gals who went to fairy's inc...

Finally went down to fairy's inc today to confirm our design. Very disappointed that they charge us at a very high price. Its above our budget. We did go ahead with the deposit becos we felt that we had already spent time and effort on the design of our wedding bands. But seriously...heart pain man...During our first appt, we were only quoted 2k plus, but probably they added on our engravings and stuff ( base of ring blah blah..), the amount came up to 1 k above the initial price.

Now can only hope that they really do a very good job and that our rings are unique or not the price we pay is not going to be worth it.

Fairy inc part 2...I just check with my friend of mine that the diamond they used are from diamond industry...quite inferior lei...feel abit cheated when I got the news from a close source..but anyway we are paying for their services as well..hope the ring come out as what we want if not the money spent can buy from any well known jewellery shops.
 
hi all.we have just cfm our design with fairys and paid a deposit of 30%, kinda worried about this inferior diamond quality. Does anybody has any comment? Any idea is the diamond from Fairy's of 'quality??

Yah i went down and confirm on the design and paid a 30% deposit. Our rings cost us around $3.7k. I think their diamond look very sparkly and Sandra has assured us that the diamond they used are of good quailty and are "e" grade? cannot really remember. Since its not a solitare, I am not so concerned abt the specs but rather how the diamonds make the band looks good.

Looks like you guys are paying quite alot for your bands as well... Is yours a full eternity band? With embossing or engraving? Now worried lei...really hope that our bands will turn out nicely....

Mine is two full rounds of diamonds on each of the outer side. Engraving will be done on the inner part of the ring. Don't worry, I think they have the nicest ring around if you are looking for something different

our rings cost ard 1.6k and just simple designs. don't have full set of diamonds (really love eternity ring but scare that is too complicated for a wedding band). my design is 4 set of "flower diamonds" around the ring. (3 small diamonds -->1 at side and 2 on top side by side). My hubby's ring comes with just a square diamond on the ring. The coating is white gold on top and at the side and inner is glossy black gold. Don't know how to describe, hope u understand. hahaha...

How much you paid for your rings? But isit true that their diamond is of lower grade..I hope not leh. haiz.. but ayway diamonds are very small, cant really see. haha...

Our bands cost above 3k. Really don noe bout their diamonds, my fiance heard from his fren that its from diamond industries. Anyway, as long our rings turn out nicely..Actually, the ring looks wery nice and elegant if its jus eternity band alone. mAybe cos we add this and that thats why they quote us so much lol...

Its jus mine alone on one side of the band. My fiance don like diamonds on his. Find that just one side eternity already enuf, if not too complicated cos we have other engravings on the surface of the rings. You did your bands at Fairy's Inc too?

WOuld be going down for fitting sometime in Jan, e ladies at Fairy's will inform us. Of course anxious to see how our bands will turn out cos we are paying quite alot for it lol....

A word of caution though when you finalise your designs, be sure to ask how much they will charge for engraving/embossing, special designs or if you are planning to mix your bands. Eg: white and black gold or etc.... COs we din and when the final quote is out, we were almost 'blown away'...heh heh jus kiddin...Happi confirmin your bands!

Which design are you having? I was also quoted about $3.7k for both rings but set with diamonds full round(Bride), something like the Tiffany's one.
 
i went fairy inc yesterdae...was quoted 2.7k for a pair of rings but my budget only 1.8k....do you think we can ask them to work within the budget but have similar design?

yup, tink u can ask them to work within the budget. tink the design might haf to b slightly modified tho. can ask them abt it. am sure dat they r more than willing to help.

Like to share my exp with Fairy's Inc.

After reading all the good reviews, i pester my bf to custom made the proposal solitaire with Fairy's inc instead of buying it off the shelf. I actually fell in love with a ring fr Caratell but decided to give Fairy's inc a shot instead. We chose our diamond, setting and also show them the pics i wanted. That was in Nov last yr.

After much pushing and chasing on our end, my bf finally collected the ring last Sat and proposed today. Though touched by his proposal, i was terribly disappointed with the ring. It was totally different from the design i wanted and the workmanship was not impressive. To top it up, i was told that they charged us an additional $700 cos they claim the factory charged them extra for the design i wanted. Of cse my bf has no choice but to pay as he didn't want to disappoint me and he had planned to propose on Valentine's Day.

It was an expensive lesson learned. With the amt, we could have gotten a Tiffany ring or another designer ring. My final conclusion is they are better at wedding bands than solitaires. As for my wedding band, had wanted to get them to do it initially, but have decided to get it off the shelf now. Cant afford to make another mistake.
