Chatters

Excerpt from AsiaOne: "Our ability to reason and solve complex problems peaks at around midday, as does our ability to concentrate. So it is a good idea to get the day's brain-work done before lunch, if possible."

That means no use coming in to work after lunch cos brain not functioning so well liao. Might as well go home. Ya how i wish! Haha...

Dolly, I didnt catch that show but i caught another of his show (forgot the title), the one where he acts with Jennifer Aniston. Do u know which one I'm referring to? Jennifer acts as a married woman who's bored with her married life so she and jake started an affair.

heart: he got married and divorced at a young age too ..

green: not worried for him .. worried i won't have time to 'train' the temp .. at this month's department meeting, he told all staff that until the temp staff is hired, i'm contactable (aside from the 1st 72 hours, that is) .. and then he added that if the husband is not happy that my mobile is ringing off the hook, buy him a psp game .. *faint* this month is also the first time i managed to finish the minutes on the same day .. usually procrastinate cos i know got time to finish ..

Hmm, it is not the exciting type. More of slow, mellowy type. But i like it cos it is very meaningful. Another good movie is "Prime" by Uma Thurman. I've watched it so many times. Find it very meaningful as well. And heartwarming. heh

Ya ya! That one! the guy is very cute. Hee... I like the show cos the things Merryl Streep says in the movie is so true. Esp the part where she tells her son that love itself is not enough. Sometimes we love and learn and then move on. It doesnt always mean we will end up with that partner forever. How true...

Oh, I actually forgot who the son is and how he looks like haha. But what Merryl Streep said in the movie is so true! Many people have the courage to fall in love but no guts to let go when circumstances have it.

He's not a very famous actor. I watched it many times that's why i can remember his face. It's forever stamped in my brain liao. Haha.. Dolly, have u caught "The Love Affair"? It's an old movie starring Tim Allen and Annette Benning. That's the love movie of all love movies, man! It's heartwarming, touching, sweet, everything!

This was the dialogue Kate Winslet said in The Holiday that really touched my heart (in the movie, she was in love with a man who doesnt love her and ultimately broke her heart):
I understand feeling as small and as insignificant as humanly possible. And how it can actually ache in places you didn't know you had inside you. And it doesn't matter how many new haircuts you get, or gyms you join, or how many glasses of chardonnay you drink with your girlfriends... you still go to bed every night going over every detail and wonder what you did wrong or how you could have misunderstood. And how in the hell for that brief moment you could think that you were that happy. And sometimes you can even convince yourself that he'll see the light and show up at your door. And after all that, however long all that may be, you'll go somewhere new. And you'll meet people who make you feel worthwhile again. And little pieces of your soul will finally come back. And all that fuzzy stuff, those years of your life that you wasted, that will eventually begin to fade.

Cuc, haha! Of cos i went to search on internet. I remember the bits and pieces but i cant remember the exact words. I just kept the meaning in my heart. hehe.. sounds so philosophical :P

And this is something i like from Alfie:

It seems to me the problems you worry yourself sick about never seem to materialize. It's the ones that catch you unexpectedly on a Wednesday afternoon that knock you sideways.

Happy Wednesday, everybody!

Me at ktv room to sing for 30min now.

After 2 months of serious coughing, I realise I sing like a crow now

It's to destress after 3hours of SMOKE sessions! haha

Very silly leh, they installed CCTV. Haha one colleague messaged one of us that she was enjoying his performance.

Today spent about 4 hours evaluating student projects. Some of them will try to "smoke" us by beating around the bushes or give weird excuses etc...

That explains my "smoke sessions". Me n colleagues were suffocated today. LOL
