aiyoooo...so dui lei...now i check coach usa website...the bag seems to be OOS now (i wanted the one with gold trimmings...) veri veri gak-shim. my cousin will be checking out the store only this sunday...keeping my fingers crossed. if i buy in spore, i can only get 15% discount with the dfs card...veri little...

woah jules, if only yr dream is true...sure grab like mad. wristlets can hold veri little things lei...i tot the poppy one is quite nice. btw, gucci having summer sale now...
 


a wrislet holds little stuff jules... i have 3 wrislets myself... but really can't put much.. i prefer the poopy one. more like me...

ino.. wait a while more lor... but i reckon once they sell all this will push out new designs... that design actually quite some time also.. maybe you will like others?
 
jules i'm quite curious about this yahoo seller...can give me the link? i always wonder if these people earn so much can travel to and fro US, how come they buy coach and bring back to sell... i remember this poppy wrislet selling for at least $249 in singapore
 
hi hi ino,that's why must save money and go to US soon.. then can buy all the coach bags u want at a fraction of the price in singapore. hehe, i also wish my dream was true.. i actually woke up thinking i must take leave and rush to coach now!! am sure the store will literally be emptied if really 50% off storewide!

can u fit a hp into the wristlet without the wristlet looking too bulky and ugly? i know it's not v practical but i like the flower!! so hua1 chi1 =)
 
cecilia, the yahoo seller i buy from is esterlla.. i dealt with her q a few times already, and now will msg her like friend like that and she does try to sell me at cost so it's like i tong bang her to buy for me lor =) her sister actually has to go to work in US monthly, so it's more like shun4 bian4 buy back and earn a bit. yeah.. the poppy wristlet did retail for 249 here. u have the memory of an elephant!!
 
jules... cos i have 2 wrislets of limited edition.. the ombre one which is $249 and the purple suede which sold for $325... i can remember coach pricing quite well.. haha!

yes you can fit your hp in, some cards and cash... thats just nice.. (provided you not buying the small hamptons wrislet, you can only put cash and cards inside)...

i got from coach dfs... bought it on the 2nd day it came... cos i left my contact number with them and told them to call me when this range come in... then i went the next day to collect.. i still saw it last friday when i went... maybe on sale and everything grabbed...

seems like this brand gonna be so common like gucci and lv...

ooh ok.. i wanted to go down during the weekends but was not feeling too well.. so only went down on Monday.. guess it's sold out by then..

hi jules...i also like tat poppy wristlet better...hv seen tis in the stores for a while....i onli rem it was quite exp as compared to the rest of the wristlets of tat size...hee 249 exp lor...

actually for tis type of wristlets hor i dun tik u can put those bulky hp....but super slim ones like razr V3 definitely can fit in! cos my hp is SE quite bulky i cannot use all these wristlets....mine is the one with the 2 pockets in front so is roomier and can still fit in my hp...
 
ooh cecilia, i love the ombre one.. very cheery and pretty.. i saw another chevron wristlet on sale online as well.. it's cream, gold, yellow and orange shades somewhat similar to the ombre range. sigh.. too bad lah.. can't buy all the stuff i like. u really have a lot a lot of coach bags! r u a tai tai =)

oh can i ask how everyone cares for their white coach bags?? they stain so easily!! when i brought my white hamptons hobo out for its first outing, some gundu brushed agst it and left black marks on the outside!! so sim tia!!! lucky can wipe off with some damp cloth and soap. but now got phobia liao.. =( no more white bags for me..

lilacgal- my hp is samsung, the slide in slide out type leh.. about 1/2 inch thick (hmm.. this sounds a bit vulgar...but dunno how to describe otw, so pls do excuse me!) can fit or not ah>?
 
chevron one not as nice... ist like the zebra version in different colour... im not a tai tai la... just buy bags that i like.. i dun have a lot also...

got to send the whites bags for regular cleaning. there's a laundry shop (washes only bags) and far east plaza 3rd floor. there have special cleaning agent for branded bags... even suede material also no problem, cos they use special chemicals and can restor back the suede to when you first buy it

yup difficult to maintain.. i juz hav to clean it with the leather cleaner once a while to keep it clean..
 
Yeah the chevron one macham like a multi-coloured zebra.. the ombre one still nicer but chevron is cheaper mah. anyway, only have money for one wristlet now.. and that will be the poppy =)

do u have the shop name/address for the laundry shop? how much does it cost to clean a bag?

is there some thing u can spray on the bag to keep it clean and less easily stained? i think i saw it mentioned in an earlier post but can't find it now..
 
ahh.. the Coach lady told me to clean it using the leather cleaner.. so far still ok..

my sis duffle wrislet became damp afetr using the leatehr cleaner... jule i don't have the name of the shop. its on the 3rd level. only shop washing bags. so you have to go look around for it. its not cheap to wask a bag... my bag one costs $30 to $40 bucks...

i suggest send it for cleaining by professionals.. safer...
 
the leather cleaner and moisturiser can be used for their leather bags only lor....i hv been using it for my leather duffle handbag for few yrs liao...it enhances the leather lor

as for those suede type i tik special care or chemical is required....cecilia quite exp leh each cleaning is $30 - $40? even for wristlet?
 
wah.. that's quite ex.. 30-40 bucks per wash..like that really cannot buy white bags already.. i am too chor lor.

by duffle u mean the monogram part right? i have a leather soho flap bag too, and supposed to clean it with leather cleaner but haven got hold of one yet.. coach staff said out of stock now.. where else can we buy leather cleaner?
 
yeah...white bags are nice. i rem asking the salesgal whether the white ones are stain/water repellent like the signature brown ones...and she says it's not...tat's why i also dare not buy white bags.

anyone into kate spade too? i was at DFS, then i saw the kate spade bags and fell in love with them too. am now bio-ing this clutch bag (which was selling at DFS at $490, less 30%...but they only have it in brown colour...)

how come white bags are not stain/water repellent? every coach bag comes with a cert/card that says it has been treated to be stain resistant right? even my white hobo got the card leh.. that's why i bought in the end.. but seems like it is really not that wonderfully stain proof after all!!

kate spade is ok only lah.. the designs seem very simple. like coach better =) anyway only have enough cash to blow on one brand! GUCCI seems overpriced too.. and there are so many aunties carrying gucci lookalikes that now every "gucci" bag i see on the street is by default fake until proven otw!
 
jules get it from DFS 4th level.. they still have stock for the leather cleaner and moisturiser...

to be safe, just use it to clean on parts that you know is leather...

ya i still prefer coach more...
 
and ino i just remembered one thing.. i was contemplating buying the bag you like but smaller version one right? i wanted to take silver but the coach SA warned me better take white or pink.. cos the that kind of material for the silver colour one, after long term use will crease and the leather will flake off....

ya lor...just yesterday, i was at the Orchard MRT tunnel , then i saw 2 stalls selling fake gucci and LV products...so many pple buy.

i like kate spade for its clean and simple lines...
 
hi ino,must state first i don't get any commission from esterlla! =) but yes, i find her very reliable from personal experience. feel very confident that her stuff are real, and she also offer money back guarantee if coach shop says the bag is not real! u can see it from her ratings. not sure where she gets the stuff from, her sister is the one who buys back all the COACH stuff. she actually taught me how to differentiate between real and fake coach bags.. so subsequently when i was considering buying coach bags online, will always email her the pics first and ask her advice. like my personal coach advisor like that =)

honestly dunno how to differentiate real and fake gucci and LV bags.. so won't spend so much money on a bag which pp might think is fake anyway! at least won't have this problem with coach.. cos the aunties haven't caught on with coach yet. but i really cringe when i see pp carrying so obviously fake coach bags! such a painful sight!!

very heart pain.. just realised the Coach lozenge on my white legacy tote has dropped somewhere without me realising till this morning! argh...

jules, i know what you mean about white bags.. my white one also has a bit of stain at the back too.. sigh. actually you can read the FAQ on coach website to see how to care for the diff materials they use.

her price definitely beats ordering via vpost usa since vpost needs to charge all the shipping and addtl costs...

so far have gotten 3 bags from her.. each time i will very cheapskately go into coach outlet and say, oh this is a present from my friend, could u verify if authentic?? and so far so good.. all authentic! her stuff can trust one lah.. if unsure of authenticity, she even goes w u to the coach outlet and if not authentic, will refund all ur money back. so pretty safe. that's why i dare to buy from her in the 1st place.

vpost is so so ex!! charge by the volume area so sure to cost a lot considering coach packages all its bags in nice gorgeous but BIG boxes.

You got from esterlla before? How is she? Are her stuff authentic? I saw a shoulder bag that I like and she quoted me a price that is very close to the USD price and definitely so much cheaper than trying to order from vpost.

I ask her if hers is authentic and she told me 101% authentic if I verify as not authentic, she will refund me.

How do I verify the bag in the boutique?Does that means she's not earning anything, even with VAT refund? But I know US has not VAT refund system.

I saw lots of sellers as well, but she seems to be the more established one with only 1 bad rating and don't seem to be her fault.

Can share your experience? What do I identify authentic from non authentic?

lilacgal- i paid 130 for the poppy wristlet actually.. not 115 as i stated above cos the seller said lost money =) but felt it was a pretty good deal anyway since most pp are selling it online at 150.

if i am not wrong, the dependable yahoo coach sellers include esterlla, sinyeelai, agoh,and terelyn. but find esterlla's prices and range most appealing so end up always buy from her.

n/c- hehe..i am not esterlla's partner..just a buyer only. usually she is very accomodating to buyers- can just email her and ask her what her best price is or what u are prepared to pay max and if she can give u a discount she will. can say u heard of her from julia lah =)

yeah i got from esterlla coach bags before. her pricing is usually based on US prices. and vpost really ex lor.unless u buy during a spree. yeah her stuff r authentic. very friendly seller. if u read my earlier posts, i mentioned how i verified my bags in the boutique. not sure how she earn lah.. but why bother as long as u are happy with the price u paid for it?? =)

Thanks, I got the card holder/ coin purse from her this morning. Didn't dare to buy anything expensive shoulder bag right now.

Drove down to her place.She was very nice and told me certain bags I like not worth getting for the price paid, even though she's selling them. Not a pushy seller.At first, I wanted a wristlet, she would inquire what I want to put in and what I plan to do with the wristlet. In the end, she told me to get the coin purse instead since I don't plan to have so much things and it's cheaper.She even allow me to let me put my things in to try out the wristlet and coin purse.

She taught me how to differentiate ( like the website Jules has recommended)I didn't tell her that you recommended me because I only saw your post now. Might have more discount. I didn't bargain because $70 is reasonable to me.

I won't be going down to verify as I show it to my SIL ( who is the subject matter expert on branded stuff). She said DFS gets the same packaging exactly what I got from esterlla.My SIL said whenever she request a new piece at DFS, they will take it out from the same packaging and coach white paper wrapping.Then they will remove the white Coach price tag before wrapping back and putting it into the DFS bag for take away.Too lazy as well!


Did you verify the flower wristlet you got from her?

Glad u man zai er gui =) she showed me the black signature skinny u bought too.. but for me it was too small. it definitely looks authentic. havent verify my poppy wristlet but won't be doing so cos am 100% sure it's genuine.my friend has the same wristlet she bought from coach outlet in US and mine is exactly the same. so no worries =)
 
seems like a lot of people interested in getting online... if coach has this 30% sales and u are a DFS card holder, on top of 30% you have additional 15% discount on the total, then that will be cheaper than buying in the states or online... but of cos such sales are not on always... maybe twice a year... i got a pouch from US also but because it is not available in singapore... i think coach has been steadily increasing their prices in singapore.... even so, it seems that it is very affordable compared to other brands... more and more coach carriers than before... just be careful when you are buying online... it pays to play safe

I also heard about the sale from the seller. She told me it's for 3 days in DFS and it's storewide, with the DFS card, you get additional 15% and sure will beat her prices as she told me US prices is only about 30+% cheaper than US. She told me to take current exchange rate / 2.5( the markup by local Coach). She said it's twice a year (June and November), but I have to wait till then to get my bag. She told me to apply for the DFS card too.

My SIL said her prices are worthwhile because in US, you still have pay taxes ( and not refundable)ranging from 6-8% and most probably, she had some discount,maybe that is why she can sell at the actual US prices without passing on the tax to us. I agree we must be careful when buying online, so I went to takashimaya in the end.

I just went to Coach takashimaya after picking up my son as I wanted to confirm the authenticity. They confirm it as authentic! I went to DFS as well, like my SIL says, they have the paper price tag ( with the US price removed) as well. Now I am more fan xin to get my shoulder tote . My SIL is thinking of getting the snake trim tote from her that ceilia got since it is OOS in DFS and takashimaya.
 


hii jules, like mongmong, i also hv wondered how come for some items they are able to sell close to US converted SG price...meaning they dun actually make much profit.....but i think for past seasons designs or maybe display piece...they r able to lower the price...

my personal feel is these sellers hv an edge over the local boutiques because they r able to get nice designs, limited editions or colors tat r not available locally and sell it at a lower price...for eg i saw the soho flap in brown which i like but is not available in SG, in the end, i bought the classic black fr dfs coach during sales...of cos the 'rare' dfs coach sales is still very much the ultimate and cheaper than US or online....but these sellers still hv their edge if they can prove themselves to be genuine sellers of authentic goods
