concierge service? meaning they buy for you and deliver? not cheap right? hmmm... if affordable i don't mind.. i always have stuff to buy.. kekekeke
 
yeah...it's not cheap. can check out today's Urban...they have a write-up as well as the charges for using the concierge service...

Hi All,

I just bought a Coach bag from the website.
Actually I have to call direct to Coach to make my purchase as I have no US credit card.

Vpost concierge was not able to help me with my purchase as they claimed that they have some prob with Coach.

So in the end I call Coach n make my purchase and have it deliver to my Vpost US address.
Then Vpost will deliver the bag from US to my house.

Overall I save about S$200+ buying from US than buying it in SG.

saw tat coach is bringing back some of the classic favorites...could be only available in states?

e tote in khaki is a classic! wonder if sg will hv...if not gonna try to get it fr states...

i wanted to buy the small size one but no stock..

if u r refering to the all white with light grey Cs , i not sure le.. must call DFS liao & ask..
 
n/c so you bought the same design but diff size from mine la... oic... that one not bad... but i got similiar size so bot the smaller one.. so the scribbles range 25% off then got additional 15% for dfs card holders? just curious... i not into the scribbles range...
 
i heard hor taka having 10% off for all coach items woh.. my fren bought the soft tote with gold trimmings yesterday..

oh i not sure ley whether 25% off w have additional 15% off or not..cos tat day when i ask the sales lady , she speak in such a soft tone.. like v scare other shoppers around me hear of the discounts available like tat woh..

Ordering from Coach
As for ordering from Coach, You will need to call them instead of ordering thru Online. This is because the website ordering process does not allow you to use International Credit card and does not ship to international address.

The amount you need to pay at Coach will be ( Product + Tax 8.25% + Shipping USD8.60)
My Case is 458 + 37.79 + 8.60= USD504.39.
Converted to SG is S$820.

But you will definitly need a US address so I used Vpost.

Shipping charges from Vpost.
Vpost charges based on Volumetric weight or actual weight whichever is higer.

Shipping charge is 9.99 ( base charge)+ 6.99 per kg for the first 10KG and 5.99 per KG thereafter.

My package is volumetric weight is (55x43x28)/6000=11KG
Actual weight is 3kg. As my volumetric weight is higher therefore they based on this weight to calculate my shipping charges.

My shipping charges are as below:

9.99+6.99(10)+5.99(1) = S$85.88

And GST are calculated as below

Total cost (A) US$ 458= S$733.26
Shipping Charges ( = 85.88
Total CIF © = 733.26+{(733.26 + 85.88) x 0.02} =749.64
GST 5% (D) = C x 0.05 = 37.48

Total amount I paid for Vpost = 85.88 + 37.48 = S$123.36


Total amount this bag cost me is S$820 ( After converting to SG) + S$123.36 = S$942.34
Boutique is selling this at S$1159. I save about S$215.
Hope this is clear for you all.
 
tulip, y didn't you get someone who has DFS card to help you buy instead? cos you have to go thru all the trouble before finally getting your bag (unless the bag is not available in singapore)and end up paying the same price.... thanks for sharing with us anyway...

fr the final price u paid, i can see that it is quite close to the usual 15% disc tat dfs card holder can get fr dfs....

i was actually thinking of getting something tats not available here fr states....but after seeing ur explanation....it seems quite a tedious process......btw how long did it take for ur bag to arrive after u order?

so conclusion is for those items not available in sg...tik is cheaper to buy back fr states if someone is dropping by!

Yah I think it quite tedious process to buy from the website.
So this time my PIL are in states, have ask them buy another set of series for me.

Think buy from states is so much cheaper.
And I dun have any friends tat has a DFS card, how u get that anyway??

tulip, just apply lor.. but now DFS stopped issuing VIP cards.. unless you apply DFS Diners card... DFS card and diners card entitled to 15%. i said 25% cos my uncle can help me get at that discount level...
 
I saw some waist pouch in local boutique but I am not able to find them in coach website. There is only 1 model of waistpouch in the webbie. Does anyone here know where I can find it in the net?? I am asking my friend to get for me in States.
 
blur blur.. not every model is being carried in the US... some bags here have there do not have, same wise for the colours as well... if website do not have means US Coach don't carry...

Almost 50% difference. Inconclusion, buy Coach in USA is cheaper. I also ask my boss to help me buy a LV wallet in Italy. Wondering the saving is how much? My colleague bought a Gucci wallet for $440 after convert from Euro. SG cannot buy branded stuff seem like not worth...
 
hi ladies, dfs coach is hving 30% disc on most items! check it out!

tik the stuff r going fast cos when i was there either many items no more new piece or already sold out...

clarins buy in eropue think the savings is the tax rebate you can get back after claiming ... so it can be few hundres diff if you buy ex items...
 


yaya i was quite surprised too tat most items r hving discount....but tat tote u recently bought the longer one was running out fast lor...tik will be sold out soon...oo tat orange tote u like is also on sale leh...haha u really can open shop lor....looking at the no. of coach u buy in a year! :P

i bought the scribble tote cos i prefer zip closure...cos i feel very insecure with the clip hook closure of most of the totes hee...
