- Hoshi Japanese Restaurant @ IMM (got ala-carte and steamboat)
- Black Pepper Crabs at Still Road
- Tiong Bahru Market Lor Mee
- Gengkis Han buffet restaurant (now they change name to Pariss International or something like tat)
- Lee San Yuan restaurant @ Tiong Bahru Plaza
- Yuki Yaki steamboat cum teppanyaki (can DIY ice-cream after the staff clean up the teppanyaki hot plate area)
- Tian Fu steamboat (got satay sauce soup base/ chicken soup base & tom yam base) at Seng Poh Road (next to the original site of Tiong Bahru Market)
