Dear all, am writing here hoping to seek advice and feedback from fellow members who had been through / know of similar situation so I can determine my next course of action.

Assuming both parties agreed on a divorce and wife gets full custody of kid. Family home is not fully paid for yet, husband paid more for the initial down payment as well as monthly loan repayment. Household & child expenses are contributed equally, with deposits to a joint account. Wife works from home and earns significantly less than husband. Because wife works from home, she is the main caregiver to kid and does overall upkeeping of home. How likely in this case will be home be given to the wife? Child maintenance is for sure but what about alimony to wife? How will the amount be determined?

Thanks in advance, I appreciate any helpful feedback..

regardless how much or how less you have contributed in the past. house selling cash profit will be share equally. you need to take note

So basically if wife wish to hold on to the house, have to pay husband 50% of the current market value? Sort of like buy over his half?

whatever the cpf will goes back cpf but there is cash profit is share equal. you can choose to buy all his shares. so you own that house under own name+ kid also

Sorry. For your case, it is likely that the home would be given to your wife especially that it is deemed under the Women Charter that wife has contributed more indirectly (caregiving of kids, upkeep of house). She also has full custody of the kid. Child maintenance is a must as you have noted. You also need to pay alimony to your wife. How the amount is determined is calculated by seeing the expenses that your wife incurred when both of you are married. You would be paying close to that amount every month.

The court would order the amount to be paid by the wife to you. In your case, you are likely to get less than 50% (abt 30%). This is again because under Women Charter, the wife is considered to have contributed more indirectly.
