Hey I read a number of news re sudden deaths.. quite scary leh. But a bit siao to keep waking up at night to check if ur spouse is still breathing right? :P
 
Ya sometime I also worry for myself, my hubby and my whole family including my dog. And I realised those who have a sudden death are quite young.
 
y?..cos heard lotsa pple passed away during sleep n they're fit, hardly sick n late 30s kind..so meaning i could be one lor....

actually i got nothing, lan min yi tiao..no next generation to worry about..n thnks god i got enuff insurance for my parents...hehe
 
I think ceci frequently do her hair liao... so she kw wa to do while waiting... and she even kw the salon gt wireless... smart move...

Ceci I wa to kw where is the saloon so that I can follow u also.

yest I was on leave for interviews right? My colleague called me....the 1st qn he asked "where did you go for interview?"

I am beginning to wonder if they have suspected that I took leave to go for interviews. Dun like this. Everytime have to think of excuses whenever I apply for leave

erm, ya the bottom is still very straight but the top's growing very thick and my fringe's a mess. well, short fringe is very high maintenance. bo bian.

anyway, there is a common comment from all the people who've handled my hair before - "Aiyo! 为什么剪了一地的头å‘你的头å‘好åƒæ²¡æœ‰å°‘到的？" or "Huh!! 我剪一点点而已，满地都是头å‘?!"

Hey Salsa, be careful lor.. are you sure you din leave things behind in the office eg copies of your CV, photocopied certs, etc? Also, do you know if your co keeps track of employees' surfing websites and can find out whether you've been surfing job sites?? What if your colleague informs your boss??? BTW, I thot you just join this co not long ago...
 
Ggal...tat i am very careful. My certs and CV are at home. I sent everything thru' email....

actually he was joking coz I dun usually apply for leave mah. Once a while he will ask "how was your interview?", "when are you resigning?"

I joined this co. last Jan...but G~gal...everyday I do NOTHING in the offc leh. Gave them 1 year liao but still the same. No improvement Feel so redundant here. I cannot waste anymore time, if not, really cannot jump liao. Even now when I go for interviews, when I was being asked abt my current job scope, I find it so hard to answer

salsa, i have the same problem. esp when they ask those circumstantial questions, like describe a time when blah blah blah... just have to smoke my way through and make trivial matters seem big.

Hmm... you didn't consider jumping ship sooner to cut your losses? Since you felt it was not a gd job then why stay on? Anyway, do continue to look lor and ask around too.

RaRa, that time I told you about the possible opening, may need to wait till after June cos right now think my colleague is still waiting for bonus payout. See if she remains after that. But hor.. I think her position is too low for your qualifications liao..
 
I am not confident of finding a job soon. Uni & poly grads are joining the job mkt soon....so many extra mouths to feed liao....

at least now I can make use of the free time here to send my resumes....

all the initial talk abt sudden deaths and hair salons make me wanna highlight/dye my hair... unfortunately seems not many salons have the colour i want...
 
G, i want white... note i'm not a hair salon guy but having posed tat question to 2 stylists, so far it's a negative...

Rara, becos as a guy... i have never ever done it before in my lifetime mah... and not so easy when u have to have abit of image for career...

simpleman, i also just read it for the first time today. I didn't cry, but I did tear and on many occasions, I feel my heart ache literally. I salute you for having come so far.

powder, they have DIY bleaching dye on the shelves!! but I think you have to do a few times to get it from black to brown to blonde to white.
