There is evidence to suggest that men are simply not as good as women in differentiating colour ;) That's why women need so many lipsticks and black shoes cos it's not just red or pink, but coral, blush, baby pink and fire engine red; it's not just black but charcoal, ebony, onyx and jet ;)

haha G, tat's a good one... yes we only know 7 colours of the rainbow... the only time we sound savvy in colours is when we choosing car colours... sterling silver lah, cosmo green, moonlight blue blah blah...

I dun think it's abt enthnicity. I think guys who are boyish looking tend to age better.. look at Brad Pitt, Robert Redford, Andy Lau, Tony Leung,etc... Men who already look a bit matured in their teens will look even older when they are adults.
 
For Indian belief, they say men with white hair means money... so the more white u have the more money (rich) u are... Apparently, my boss(owner of XXX company), have a whole set of white hairs and he is rich.
 
Haha... you believe cos of one example? There are many old folks w white hair living in 1-rm flats.. dun think they are rich at all :P
 
U change also no use la, Ah siao... u change skin color or change hair to white also no use. Inside u still a chinese.... but quite hard to say... maybe u dye to greyish white u become famous. Like Stephen Chow in "Shi Sen" (God of Cook)
 
Last time when I am 20. I went to highlight my whole hair ash brown cum blonde... After tha I look like a Japanese doll... and hair is spoil..

Anyway, juz wanna comment tat I agree with G~gal & the rest tat guilt can indeed be a more powerful emotion than love. For me, I cannot handle guilt very well. Puts u at the losing end more often than not. Not necessarily a good thing.
 
looks like guilt is a more feminine emotion.

Guys don't feel so guilty. Or maybe not.

That is why my personal mantra, not to do wrong cos the guilt can kill us even if the law or other people may not kill us. Again as I said, like the protoganist in "crime and punishment" - the guilt eventually forces him to confess his crime.

Simpleman, I prefer Japanese novelists like Natsume Soseki and Haruki Murakami for their simpler prose and certain poetic feel. Russian novels tend to be more convulated but I appreciate their humour sometimes..

as a father of such pretty gals, I'm sure you would be doubly concerned to ensure your gals don't get hurt emotionally....

One of my uncles has 2 very pretty daughters and another uncle commented over dinner a couple of weeks back that this brother of his will be in for a hard time when his daughters start going out with guys...

as for gals growing up and going out with guys - this is just a mindset. As much as we want to worry, we can't control it. I just want to be open and want my children to bring their guys home rather than be scared and hide outside.

skylar, a lot of pple ask me leh.. I can edit my multiply using style-sheet but i guess most of you can't. I got it cos last time I paid $20 for a gold account - now it is completely free.
