No la not blaming you la RaRa..it was my pleasure chatting w you ;) Nah I'm just kidding abt the concealer la... save your money for your suit.But how come you spent all your money in one week??? You may wanna wait for a G2000 sale to get a new suit, more worth it. Usually can slash at least 40% of the price. But if you can't wait, I guess $100+ for a jacket w free skirt/pants is already quite affordable la.

simpleman.. ya.. cried... spent whole afternoon in reading the blog... after that eyes swollen.. teared a lot.. not exactly cried.. you really have come far....

ladies... i have 3G connection, when the hair stylist saw me with my laptop he told me he just subscribed wireless for the salon.. so i could use it.. and its faster than my 3G... ya always do my hair and got sick and tired of reading mags while doing hair... keke... did rebonding also.. but mine faster.. only 2.5 hrs.. two guys doing my hair at one time..
 
next time busy must say mah... then i *zip* :p
oh cos last week i had to pay a few hundred bucks for the next level of my korean course lor. my cash is usually just nice (including savings etc.) so anything extra means eat grass. haha. life will be much easier IF and when I pass my driving in *gasp* 3 weeks!

as for the suit, since i have 2 interviews on Monday I thought might as well just get now.
 
cecilia, thanks.. a lot of pple says that and wants to adopt her. Funny thing is her mother can bear to leave her - that is why sometimes I don't understand woman. And it is not that her mother don't love her.

but u'll only get brown from black hair, and blonde from brown hair. so based on the progression, should be able to get white hair? haha...

She still wanna be part of the family. but she can't face you, and the guilt. She feels guilty towards the kids.. and thinks she do not deserve them. She is inflicting punishment on herself...
 
cecilia, I guess you are right about my wife. She wears "guilt" on her face everyday. Even my eldest daughter is commenting that her mother is trying to "atone for her sins of abandoning them" by doing things for them.

So guilt is a much stronger emotion than love for your loved ones?
 
simpleman, i feel taht one has to be able to come to terms with and be able to accept oneself again before being able to face others. escaping is the easier route to take until she can get past herself.
 
Simpleman, I truly think that guilt is a more powerful emotion than love. Have you read Anna Karenina? I find the story quite similar to yours (albeit your doesn't have such a tragic ending).
 
yes simpleman... she loves all of you.. but she is guilty... you have seen her at her worst, during the incident... and even forgiven her... but she can't forgive herself...

if i'm her, i will be confused over do i still love you or feel guilty towards you. but i think she chose to feel guilty. She is hiding and running away, she doesn't know how tough the road will be if she returns... and she choose to leave, so she face it alone rather than making you all face it together if she returns. Uncertainty is in herself, she has lost in herself, by loving another guy and letting u down. She dare not try anymore. I reckon she still love you, as a hubby for 17 years, and as a companion thru-out. She will confirm it one day. One day if you are not ard (choy!), or something bad has happened to you, she will wake up and have enough courage to admit she still love u...

I'm just expressing my thoughts after gathering what she did and what has happened... women still understand women most... so keep your thoughts and perception abt her aside... things she is doing or had done may not turn out the way she wanted it to be perceived... Women are contradicting creatures.. that i truly agree

RaRa, ya I'm glad that the increment is 5-8% but then, dunno whether hb will stay for gd or not. I'm encouraging him to aim for tertiary level cos more flexibility and career options. See how la.. once he completes his masters. Hope that can open more doors. Altho civil service got more increment, the bonus in private sector is still higher la cos public sector doesn't generate as much profit mah (profits go to you-know-who).

Ya we got pay out in 2 halves of the yr incl AWS, individual performance bonus and co performance bonus la. But after being there for so long, I felt the same as you're feeling in your current job. Basically felt like dragging myself to work..
 
powder, gatsby has ash grey! cheap cheap, $11 per pack. i thought u wanted WHITE so i went to look at those that really bleaches haha. but u prob hafta do it twice anyway if you want it really light.

RaRa, contentment is impt lor. Even if co pays a lot, but if have to suffer all those months to qualify for bonus, also v xin ku. Must strike a balance between pay and job satisfaction lor.
 
i think now very difficult to get real job satisfaction as u hardly can find a company or management tat had heart and feeling to the worker. It take 2 to claps!
