Not many workshops know how to handle rotary engines and rotary engine produces more heat...wear & tear will be at a faster rate. RX8 has a prob with 'eating' engine oil...like someone mentioned, RX7 infini is THE rotary engine machine
 


Mazda guys was inspired by by my Alfa 156's design, tat's why... it started with the Mazda 6, which looks very much like my Alfa... then after tat they just went at it and got better. the Mazda 3 is simply beautiful to look at. and the MX5 is a very very respectable roadster...

i like Mazdas... they have held a low profile for awhile except for the MX5 and i was so happy when the M6 and M3 came out... they were definitely winning formulas!

Powder richer than I thought leh. RX300. Good choice! X3 I'm not familiar. Dare not even look. In case I faint at the price. Or save a bit of milk powder money and go for the Harrier? Nothing wrong with Harrier mah. Dun understand why people go mod it, pluck out the logo and replace with Lexus. Bo liao.

MX5 is the miata? Dunno leh. Somehow... it doesn't get me going...

X3 looks a bit funny to me - neither here nor there. X5 looks better and there is now a 7-seater version.

why RX330? I thought there is a RX440h - SUV with decent fuel consumption due to the hybrid.

Laundry, not kidding lah... there was an article on the uk car magazine tat talked briefly abt the revival of Mazda and their designs... it began with the Mazda 6 and the chief designer mentioned tat he was inspired by the Alfa 156 design by Walter da Silva...
 
ya simpleman, X3 basically looks like sh!t aesthetically... the X5 wayyyyy better, but i would never pay tat kind of money. i'm looking at 100k range for Luxury SUVs, else i prefer to just get a regular A-B...

RX400H is great, but at 170k i dun rate it, cos afterall the design has been around for 3yrs liao...

oh Laundry, i prefer to stick to the Harrier Badge! i think Harrier is in a class of it's own. just tat for the depreciation, i'd rather pay the extra 1k depreciation for a 2nd hand Lexus. u change the badge here and there end up also same price...

For me I won't buy new car. I only bought 1 new car in my entire life (I have owned 7 cars) Buying a 1-year old car is the best deal one can get.

For X5, there might be some bargain if you are patient enough - of course you won't get it at 100K. I would wait a year to see the price of a 1-year old RX400h.

huh? But I saw the car at Vivocity... there's a exhibition on the Casino Royale movie. I thought I saw the license plate says DB9 leh... i saw wrongly?? hmm... got excuse to go for lasik liao.. haha
 
it's pictures? the DBS not avail yet... and actually it's not meant to be unveiled except glimpses in the Bond movie... so Vivo prob showed picts of the DB9 and figured nobody will notice... or they themselves didn't realise it's a DBS...

in the world of cars, latest models are very well shielded from publicity and all u get are spy shots. even then, most times the cars are not in its full glory... tat's the whole point of motorshows... if Vivo showed DB9, then u can tell them tat they are wrong.
 
i was Draaaaggggged to watch tat show on sat nite with my buddy... i totally didn't wanna watch tat show cos Daniel Craig reminds me of Quasimodo... i replied my fren's sms 3 times "i'll cringe watching tat guy french-kissing Bond girls"... i wanted to watch Happy Feet.

but as luck would have it, the only remaining movie was Casino Royale and we had to watch it at Tiong Bahru (eeeks! ok ok i'm a non-heartlander mall person)...

i think i owe Daniel an apology. i dun think Any of the ex-Bonds could have pulled off Casino Royale quite as well and he was perfect... this James Bond needed someone tat neither Brosnan nor Connery could have pulled off... perhaps Roger Moore but still, he does not have the right physique.

actually before the show started, i felt they may have done well recruiting Robbie Williams to be James Bond... someone abit more of a bad boy... but i think Daniel can be Bond for the next 2 movies after Royale... he has totally won me over.

pls watch the show... it makes jackie chan look like carebear...
 
Then i'm not wrong lah.. wahliao.. for a moment thought I really have an eye sight problem. It was a DB9 on display... sweet car..

Seriously so good, powder?? I also resisted watching Casino cos I thought Daniel Craig looks kinda "uncle" to me. Having a bit of a receding hairline doesn't help. But agree that he does have a more macho physique compared to the other Bonds. Robbie Williams as Bond... now that's a thought...
 
honestly i only went to watch cos my regular movie buddy coaxed me... but i really feel i have wronged Daniel Craig... he's a very good James Bond. in fact i think he's very good for the modern era... u believe he can die, and not know he cannot die... he adds realism and is more Human than the other blessed Bonds... keke

btw, heard Evo 9 is coming out the MR specs...wonder y still launch this spec when the Evo10 is around the corner.....Evo my ultimate fav, but no $$ to 'feed'..haha
 
ya I agree with Powd.

Don't think any of the previous Bonds could've pulled it off. Hate to sound cliche but Casino Royale, u either like it or you don't.

He's not suave, in fact very rugged.

Never see Bond bleed so much. Handsome ok lah, in a rugged blue eyed sorta way. No gadgets. And this new Bond seems to be rough on the outside, but very tender no the inside.

The previous Bonds like cool and suave outside, but inside also quite cold as steel type. This one really dam warm Bond. Can last a few more instalments as the Bond of the new millenium lah. I reckon.

My girlfriends all debating whether Eva Green is really chio. Most say no.
