Remember to ask to meet him before photoshoot.....tell him exactly what u want. Even the poses. If not yr pose will be those standard poses
 
BTW, did anyone purchase the engagement ring from online jeweller (www.jamesallen.com) before? We are looking for the engagement ring and i really fancy one of their settings but not too sure after reading mixed reviews online.

I just went to see haha. To be honest I think the retouching seems different from what the couple posted, so they might have done additional work after that? Nonetheless we'll never know la.

I don't think the couple intended to flame the bridal studio though since they didn't name and shame. I think the intent was still to improve the industry practice/standard.

Based on the article, it seems that the couple did ask for alot of additional things that was not included in the initial package.

The bridal shop will need to cover its costs and hence, they will need to cut down on the quality of photographer.

Lesson learnt: Best not to keep asking additional things that will add on the cost of bridal shop. They will find another way to earn the money back

Haha I actually topped up for feline AD at 300+ too. So guess tt might be the rate for their photogs.. but totally confident w them la. How wrong can all photos get when u get an album of 900 photos right hahas

Nice!! Can u share a pic of the ring? I am abit worried cos read online review that JA did not advise the buyer tat diamond did not suit the setting n the diamond fell off! Another review said their quote only valid for one day n the hike goes by $1000 difference! I don't want to go thru that although i am lucky to be able to choose something i like.

I don't think it's wrong to keep adding things though, the shop could've just asked them to pay more right haha.
 
Hi fellow brides to be.. How do you gals book 2017 banquet and confirm on the dates when the tong shu for 2017 is not out? Online masters calculation accurate one?

I didn't follow tong shu. As I heard from my mum need to wait until August only release. So I choose the date base on Internet n Chinese Calendar.

Hmm. My HTB actually consulted the online help first before choosing the diamond and setting.

AD gowns: Gowns Villa (boutique home bridal with good quality gowns and meticulous boss who takes care of all the details in her works. Went to several places like Bqueens, Aisle Bridal, The Bridal Room, Rico, K gowns etc before confirming on this!)
AD Photography: Mooworks (sister company of moomedia with good shots that brings out the feeling and emotions of the couple. Good deals if u get the early bird combined with their current promotions)
AD Videography: Beyondpictures (Specialises in Videography only and the way their videos are edited and music added never fail to bring out the story of the couples. They do not arrange the video in the actual sequence of events like always start with gatecrashing but look at all the happenings of the day and the style of each couple before editing to tell the story of that couple. Unique to every couple!)
Wedding Singers: Shili&Adi (fantastic duo, a little jazz style. Just watch their videos in YouTube n u can come if they are the style u like or listen to them live at beer mkt etc)
Wedding props: IM-PERFECTION (packages that are convenient and fuss-free. Discounts available if u get more than 1 package)

Ya, and they are not sincere in sharing the package with us at all. I raised concern like what if the gowns in Korea are not to my liking (since they don't have that many gown samples in their iPad), she interrupted curtly by saying, "in the first place why do you even want to go to Korea for your pre wed photo shoot? Is it because you like their style? If that is the case, you should trust them and their taste!" Oh my, I didn't know customers will get questioned back.

Wow... am suprised to have such customer service.
 
I met them at the hotel wedding show previously. As for me, I am surprised my experience was totally different. They seem patient and accommodating to address our concerns and even allow us to split payment when we raised our concerns that we don't feel good without seeing their gowns personally at their boutique. And because of the remarkable service, we decided to engage with them. Even the hotel managers recommended Louvre Bridal to us. Since then, we have been emailing them on our wedding matters, and they are quite prompt and helpful in their reply. We are so far so good with our coordinators.

That's good for you. Probably depends on the coordinator n mood of the day. I believe in most bridal, there are pros and cons.. jus depends on luck.

Mine will be at republic of singapore yacht club. I booked there coz of the scenary although inaccessible. =)

Depending on what kind of gown u want.

Personally i chose my bridal room at tras street coz of word of mouth recommendation by my friends. Even my another friend had good review about the studio after their photoshooting 2 mths ago

Hmmm not so sure yet! I think the best is to really look around! Found a really great bridal gown at my dream wedding but they dont have the evening gown that i want:( Also, the salesperson told me that the package is rather flexible, so you can exchange some of their items in the package to something else not offered in it! Mostly importantly, you must have the gowns you like (:
