As for banquet I'm considering between Hiltop Restaurant (Qian Xi bukit batok CSC) and Hilton hotel.

Hi Amy~~
I chose Hilltop as my wedding dinner location in Nov'16.
If u have many tables, the Hall on the 4th floor will be very suitable. It's so beautiful with High Ceiling, Chandeliers, a super long walkway for ur entries and the deco is very pretty too.. They have a huge stage and overall, it looks very much like a hotel ballroom... =) Their food is quite good too..

Hi! I'm getting married in July 2017... Was just wondering, do the hotels really give you more perks if you sign with them at their wedding shows? Some wedding shows require an entrance fee too :/

Hi what does The Gown Warehouse package includes? Mind sharing ur package?

Thanks!!

HI all, I only have AD package cause I have booked pre-wed with other company.
As below:

they have 2 package
#1 Basic
$1588
1 wedding gown classic range (80% of their gown are classic)
1 evening gown
1 mensuit rental
1 makeup and hairdo

#2
$1988
1 WG classic range
1 Eg
1 Tea Dress
2 Mansuit rental
2 Make up and hairdo

They have partnering MUA.. So I chose the most expensive MUA in their list of cause hahha :)

Yes, I signed up with them after much consideration and research And the deposit is 30% so is about $596 for package 2 that I signed :)!
As my AD is June 2017 .. So the next 30% payment is on March 2017! follow by June 2017 for the balance payment :)... they dont accept AMEX if you plan to use AMEX true cashback card.

Just an advice if you go any bridal studio ... MUST MUST MUST try on gown n see if you like it or not! if not dont sign :)..

By the way,

I'm also looking at Digio Bridal and Divine Couture as their gown collections are really attractive.

Any btbs with their package details please kindly share? :)

Thanks for the recommendation :) Did you take up both your pre-wed and AD with them?
Nope I booked pre Wed with bluebay cause going Taiwan =) and ad with them. Do note that gown warehouse is more focus on gown then overall packages. Apart from digio u can consider her sister company Rico a mona too =) my friend give good review too.

We are considering between a few hotels, Hotel Fort Canning, Marriott and Carlton etc. Most of the hotel wedding shows tied up with Louvre Bridal and they have a number of good reviews from what I know before seeing them at the hotel show. So we sat down at their booth to hear out more since they are one of the short-listed bridals.

We sat for a good 1 hours had a pleasant time taking to the sales consultant who attended to us. She is very patient throughout. We are quite interested in exploring Korea, and came to know that they have the Promote Korea promotion. They shared with us the before and after price and we are very attracted. Guess what? The before price was $4,500 and after promotion is about $1500 - $2000 depending on the studio we select. In other words, we got to save up $3000!

At first we are skeptical about it, because the savings is really too incredible, But they gave us time to sort up and discuss, so we called up a few friends for their opinions and found that most prices out there is around $$4000 for a Korea photo shoot by other companies.

We double checked on the items and they are the same from what others offered. So we are not being short changed. So is it a sales gimmick, we thought? But, they brief us the terms and conditions before it and they were stated bnw in the poster. So my dear and I were very convinced after the rationale that they have nothing to cheat us, especially they are so recommended and popular and they worked under Korea Tourism Board. So it make sense why they are having such a promoting campaign to go Korea.
From the reviews, they seem really good and we just need to settle our actual day with them and we get direct price and we pay the studio Korea directly. Everything seems very transparent to us and their service to us is remarkable, I meant at least they are not pushy and gave us discussion time and answered all our doubts. From the hours we were there, we seen many other couples signing up with them too.

So we decided to go for the promotion and are glad that we have solved our bridal from pre-wedding and our actual day. One word for sure, their gowns are really nice from pictures. But I am still abit worried not seeing the gowns personally, they are very nice to arrange another time for me to see their gowns at their shop before I make the full payment for my deposit amount. I feel they are very considerate and understanding. We like them to be flexible too.

I am looking forward to the shop visit.

I will also be going for Carlton wedding showcase, and we hope to finalize our hotel by next month. Anyone has other good hotel recommendations, please pm me.

I booked with My Dream Wedding for pre wed photoshoot. Haven't gone for the shoot so can't review them!

Anyway the sales person was very upfront about additional costs and wasn't pushy.

Hi, wonder if anyone can share with me the bridal packages they have? We have only done venue shopping and have just confirm the venue for Jul 2017. Next will be bridal boutique shopping and looking at a max price of $3.5k for pre & actual day. Would like to hear any recommendation. Thank you.

They did not show you around when you signed? I wasn't too into the gowns but my coordinator said I should take a look so he brought me around and even handed me an ipad to look at the gowns...
They really do have a wide range of gowns but I'm guessing the nicer ones will require some top up.

Are you doing a local shoot?

Hellooo. I btb 12 feb 2017. Dates got changed. Previously was 25 Sept 2016. Because Master Tong say this year clashes both me and htb. So no choice. Happy that the dates got push so can save more money for weddings. Most of the things alreAdy planned

Hi! Chanced upon this forum when I was googling for Bridal companies to sign up with. Just booked my wedding venue, and am considering getting a package with Memoire & Co. They're pretty flexible with their packages and the services were good. No hidden cost and not pushy at all. However, there aren't many reviews I can refer to online. Anyone heard of them before?

I heard of them before during their roadshow at orchard road. They have quite a good review on facebook. :) and they just opened last year if I am not wrong. According to them, their boutique is super huge about 5 stories and have their own studio for photoshoot. The price they offer also pretty good ;)
Check out this link for more reviews https://singaporebrides.com/weddingforum/threads/memoire-co.23865/

I signed up with LVB too. Their package is above the average price, for those who are on tight budget might not find their package attractive, since they don't throw in much free stuffs like other bridals that I went checking out before.

What caught me is their gowns and photo quality. We took their package locally. I had seen my friend's wedding by them and their photographer is very helpful and professional. To me, service is most important.

We can have more discussion by ourselves since we confirmed on the same bridal. if you don't mind. Can you pm me your email address?

Advice from many brides to us btbs is not to make 100% full payment if wedding date is still far.. u never know when "touch wood"the bridal studio collapse.. ;)!

I had a bad experience during my gown choosing session and some other commitment before my pre wed photoshoot. >< the good service gone after I made my full payment. (they requested to pay full and this is listed under their t&c) I am sad and disappointed.

Oh no! Who was your coordinator? Can share what bad experience? I went back a few times after signing they were still really nice to me!

Hi, initially my coordinator is a guy, but after that I didn't see him anymore. And only a front desk girl come and approach me. I thought she was only a receptionist, that's why I didn't ask her name. But the attitude really make me upset. For my next visit, I hope will be better....*pray*

My gown consultant is Zoey....

Every time I go and someone else wants to help me I will insist that I will wait for my coordinator!

Start with sourcing your venue, I think that's the first thing!
Me and htb was thinking of ban heng restaurants. Any review about that? Recently attended a wedding at ban heng restaurant at aranda country club at pasir ris. Food was good and service too. Still considering.

Hi all BTB!! I've been busy for the past months and wasn't active in this forum. =/ I'm May 2017 bride but have yet to book any venue. Am I too behind time?! =/ I signed my PW with Cangai and I've been having pretty good experience w them so far. I'll be having my photoshoot coming April and I hope all will be good! *fingers crossed*

I've yet to sign my AD package too =/ but I've been to The Gown Warehouse too! I'm impressed with their gown selections and service! Really nice and helpful pple:) and TOTALLY NOT pushy. I think u ladies shd go have a look if u have not! Haha (:

I short listed ban heng but in the end decided not to. No particular reason though, just found somewhere else that I liked more. I agree their food is great, but service I don't think it's accurate cause they hire temp staff for their events.

Its true that they hire temp staff. But I'll need to look out for better choice.

Or rather, any Qian Xi Restaurant, love their food though! :)

HUHHHH I had my D&D there once and attended a wedding there. I felt the food was so bad! The fried chicken looks like it was Swimming in a pool of oil and the vegetables look like they have been undergoing some artificial sun tanning that they lost all their original colour.

I thought the same way too. Had a wedding dinner there also

I think when you're selecting your venue, first things first, set a Budget.

Then shortlist those within your budget and decide what is most important to you: good service, location, perks aka value for money, superb food etc.

Go for site visits, talk to the coordinator see how experienced and friendly they are... Then at the end of it, shortlist 3 so that you don't have too many choices that make you dizzy.

Good luck!

Im a Dec 2017 BTB. I am looking at buying gowns at taobao or Bkk which my friend recommend me that it is cheaper than renting. I saw some gowns at taobao which is really nice, not sure about the quality though.

Ya definitely will shortlist at least 3 choices. Will have to source around soon.

I didn't really go online and see the gowns on taobao. I'm looking out for cheaper rates. I've heard from double up at IMM. Anyone have reviews about them?
