It was Regent Hotel. I had wanted the big ballroom. I went with Four Seasons in the end. Which hotel are you looking at?
Four Seasons is sooooooo nice!! I was choosing between Four Seasons and W but the post wedding PARTY option at WOO BAR won! hehe
THANKS dear... I will defo check them out. But Would prefer non customised gown since I HAVE NO TIME and no room for mistakes hehehehe
W hotel is ex but we managed to get quite alot of perks like free flow beer, mixologist for cocktail hour, 2 nights stay at their 1300/night suite, helper room stay, all cockage waiver on top of the usual 1-red-wine-per table.
Best of all, because we booked in Jan for a July date, we managed to get away with only 25 min table instead of the usual 40.
Their menu is strictly individually plated so we will get some extra cost buffer if some guests don't turn up; whereby we channel the per pax cost to extra alcohol charges, etc. Though I have no idea what extra costs we would incur since we pretty much got all AD costs covered.

Invitation cards usually you should contact the vendor directly, theme deco the florest directly. As for food tasting, I was recommended to do so 2 months before wedding. =D
hahaha amazing that you still have the energy for after party!!! I think I will be dead beat by the end of the day. I heard from my mum that W hotel is really pretty too. I did not check it out cos Four Seasons has always been the one. =)

I attended a wedding at W hotel in 2013.. When the bride and groom Went to give their speech, the waitress and waiters were busy preparing the next dish which was the soup and it was very noisy as there were a lot of clanging sounds and we weren't able to hear the speech in the end.
Maybe you Want to ask them to not serve any dishes during your speech.
That's great. I love Four seasons and Shangri la ballroom, however two close friends of mine recently had theirs there
we kinda want a special venue to call our own (amongst mutual friends)

Hi. Have anyone attended wedding that does not do cake cutting? Is there an alternative to this?
I just attended my gf's wedding, there's cake cutting, but no toasting, no speech, no 2nd march-in.
Oh i see! Is there any activities did she do in place of those?

Can try the gown warehouse, bqueens or Digio? Digio offers ad package with pre wed gown rental, hope this helps

I think her prices are reasonable considering her workmanship, detailing, and also all gowns are customised. As i am very particular with the fabric and embellishments used, i find that those that they use are very high quality. I later on found out that the fabric and crystals they use are from Europe, not China. I can really tell the difference as i went to a more budget gown shop prior to visiting Bridal Veil.

My fiance really love Yang from Substance studio so we engaged him for AD videography! He is super nice and have shot a number of celebs, even Fann Wong's!
I randomly stumbled upon My Bridal Room gown studio yesterday after checking out Luna Juliana (snooze worthy gowns, a waste of time) and I find the Designer Ginny very adorable! Made an appointment to bring my fiance down this Sat so I'm hoping to find out what you guys think about that studio? Any reviews would be much appreciated!!!! =D

Oct seen like a popular month for wedding, best to start looking for 1 now before those popular one get book on popular dates. Mine is Apr 2016 wedding. I email like 10 JP before finding one that is available. I book mine last year around sept.

Does your hotel provide supplier? So i have to go the supplier there to collect the cards and i am given a choice to print my inserts with them or not.
Mine was Tdragon. Working with them is a breeze. They are very patients. We need choose design, card, paper material, wordings, decoration. So many things to choose. It cost me 100 for 200 normal paper inserts.

Guess wat today my live band call me to cancel my booking! Got a call saying that they want to refund me the deposit as there is no contracts sign. I didn't sign the contract as the details wasn't right. Without signing mean not confirm? But I have already paid deposit. Quite pissed off. But I guess I'm lucky to knw abt their service now rather than nearer to my wedding day.
