Hi, my wedding also in october. I'm currently in the midst of collating the logistics neccessary for my wedding theme. also started to arrange meet ups with my wedding vendors and hotel co-ordinator and bridesmaids too to discuss on the timeline.

will also be preparing for guo da li in august. =)

I will say a yes. Having an emcee helps to give the entire event a structure so your guests can know what to expect next. It also reduces your own anxieties on actual day, knowing that this portion will be managed by a trusted person. Usually hotels will provide you with some fixed script for emcees on the wedding day. Can just get a friend to do it. :) cheers

For me is issues on bridesmaid and who is gonna help me for my reception. My solemnization time is very close to dinner time.. haha! And its a friday somemore.. when is urs? Im also hving mine in oct..

Hello, I'm back in this thread! Submitted (venue) application for solemnization in Nov.. haha..
Now on pinterest looking for setup ideas.. Need to cater some light snacks for 30-50 pax also, cupcakes? macarons? pastries?

30-50 people is pretty easy to manage in terms of snacks. get something you like? i know of brides who order macarons from Laduree.. or u can buy from TWG and get friends to help set up. or donuts?

i'm doing an nostalgic theme..so looking towards more traditional snacks like kueh lapis, ang ku kueh. etc. haha

how u know i like macarons :p haha.. thinking of cupcakes, macarons and something that's savoury.. maybe quiche from starbucks (i rem they do catering..)?
otherwise, kueh lapis would be nice too!

Hi gals...... I'm really new here and excited to be hearing ABT all your stories...... my ROM is over and my AD is in a months time .. so I'm really very nervous ...... anyway just to share with you gals..... I used Golden Horse in Yishun for my BS . really excellent service. And my Mua was v professional during my ROM....my ROM nails were done by a manicurist name Karen fr Botanique in bedok.... really friendly gal..... I most prob go back to her for my AD....really love her nail art n pricing really cheap....... really congrats to all the upcoming couples....!

interested to know too! the gowns seem quite nice in general. n I like that they are able to "custom make" the designs we want at no additional charges.. of cos, that's what they offered at roadshow, no idea how true cos we didn't sign the package in the end.

For photoshoot, which shoot come first. Indoor or outdoor ?

Does trial makeup consists of hairdo? Do brides meet up with the makeup artists to decide what hairdo for the photoshoot?

I did my indoor first then outdoor. And my bs trial make up doesnt include hairdo. I believe u can research on what u want

i heard that too, and some BS only allows trying of 3 gowns or so? if wanna try many, have to pay a fee.

any recommendations on gowns from Taobao?
i saw a knee length white gown at bugis over the weekend and thought it's quite pretty.. $130. thinking of getting it for my ROM this year, so that i don't have to rush to decide and sign for an AD BS package in order to get a free rental of ROM gown :/

Attended z wedding showcase over the weekend. Their packages are pretty pricey? :/ And understand from someone who had signed package with zw, she needs to top-up for le grand gowns (which are the nicer gowns)..

Any BTB can recommend a VG (@ affordable price)? My wedding is on 15/11 (lunch), initially don't intend to hv one but now decide to engage one VG for ard 6hrs plus express highlights.

I am a 2016 bride ! but just wanna check if there's any review on WMA for their photoraphy & videography services.
Their prices are consider reasonable as their 3 in 1 includes photobooth as well.

you can try PixelMusica. I've booked them for my July 2016 wedding next year. I also signed with Yvonne Creative (they were really nice though, allowed me to try the gowns - i actually tried a total of 4, 2 the first time i went down, and another 2 the next time before i signed). Didn't want to book something that I didnt like.

Need some opinions.. Can't decide which is more suitable for ROM dress.

(sash and ribbon for the gown on the left can be removed. )
