Just went to view holiday inn orchard city centre and concorde today! Now im stuck with choosing either one both are good and their respective coordinators are so nice too!

I'm Jan'15 BTB too and I'm currently sourcing for PG and VG now... it's not too early to book and like RS said, best to quickly secure once you've found the one. Out of those that I enquired, a few are already engaged for my date, so gotta move quickly!!

No worries as long as it is a reputable BS me and htb signed up for BS package and we paid in full lor...quite reluctant to do so but the BS told us that's how they operate, they even showed us receipts of other couples who signed up with them.

Probably need to work out your budget first & see how many tables needed for the banquet. I am currently only starting on banquet search only.... U can go wedding shows.. There's a few this Sunday and u can have a feel of the ballroom and packages.

My recommendation as below:

All for all, decide a wedding date first.

For Banquet
1) Discuss the estimate number of guest you would invite
2) Discuss what kind of banquet style you like :: lunch/dinner, sit down dining/buffet, ROM+AD same day/ separate day??
3) Discuss the budget per table
4) Restaurant or hotel ?
5) Look at the hotel website for basic info if its fits your requirement
6) Email them get quotations and meet for discussion and site survey / attend wedding show however some may not offer their package for 2015 at wedding now as they want to fill up 2014 slots. It will be a good chance to take at the stuff the hotel can offer.

For Bridal Package
1) What kind of style you like ? ( ok, usually some of the brides don't know what they want, like me until now also which direction for gowns i like)
2) Think about what kind of package u want and its a must to be include in the package:: Full / AD package , Local or oversea prewedding shoots, etc...
3) Look at some gowns from the website and if you like their gown, go down to talk abt the package.

You can try to do both first .... then PG VG ... then....... gradually you will follow the flow already..
I unable to advise yet because haven till that stage. Now stuck at PG VG~

Usually BS will prefer about at least 3-6 month before AD so there are sufficient time for editing and not so rushing for them.
I signed up BS last year, Taking my Pre-wed shoot this year Sep, next year AD in May.
I dont like to rush so giving myself ample time to plan.

For signing up asap = because they want you to sign with them?? I don't know =x
However for prewed shoot by Jan, i agree with her

r u taking in singapore? i have taken my pre-wedding shoot last month even though my AD is next yr mar. that time when i took pre-wed, i choose gowns base on their recommendations first, only when i try it on i know which one would suit me better. how many gowns you can choose for your wedding shots? I try to have a mix of diff kind of gowns n colour, don't worry too much

I thinking to have korea style with the mixture of fun and romantic. i have also 4 locations for outdoor shoot hence 1 of the locations will be something green. like lala fields or somewhere have bigbig land of grass.....any suggestions?

My life is simple haha cant think of any sweet locations.
The place where we first met has revamped. Wisma + Old orchard mrt. Now already become ION. hahah

Just some extra infor BTBs, buying periods are usually April & August. So check with your coordinators. Some might be reluctant to share though, because when they ship their new gowns back they might need to work on it before it can be on the rach for rental.

@zrhs You can try lalang field or the apple tree place for pictures Or those themed cafes in SG, they usually allow photo taking with some minimum spending.

One nice cafe to consider is The Coastal Settlement in Changi
