Is there a tampopo ramen there? The outlet at liang court is quite highly raved..
If not we can eat Mache? But then again, we need something not too sinful since we need to stay in good shape for our wedding :p

Checked. There is no tampopo in 313..
We can either eat at F.I.S.H or a eatery called handburger or something... Wat do u gals think?

I dun mind foodcourt then we can go la kopi after that
happy.gif

bluey: haha okok, all the best in ur search!

missy/ds: no need to feel jittery lah...u choose a good one sure no headaches like me...my reno experience was a pleasant one haha

tampopo is good! I love the tonkatsu set there, the ramen is pretty good as well! only thing price a bit exp...

ds I let u know whether can join u gals next fri ok?

yeah, esp weekends...the queues are mad. can call them and check see if can reserve, not too sure abt this sorry.

btw my HM pics are up, feel free to view

missy> found this website...
http://www.cfc.com.sg/index.htm
think shld be the main company who opens Tampopo... there r actually other jap restaurants under this company... and these restaurants either at Liang Court or The Central...
Tampopo has a dessert cafe at Liang Court...

they hv the ramen shabu shabu seems not bad too...
happy.gif
Tsuru Tsuru Tei

ladies, I’ve made a reservation at Tampopo Liang Court on this Fri, 21May at 7pm.
for those who are arriving early, can go in sit first as they will only hold the table for 15min.

the Tsuru Tsuru Tei at Liang Court is inside the supermarket de so has no reservations unless u gals wanna try then we go to The Central outlet.

do let me kw if u gals decide to change so that I can call to reserve
happy.gif

actually i also just finish my reno not too long ago and i've moved in my new hse since feb... i thought maybe i can share some experience here... mine is a 5-rm flat and resale.. did it for slightly below 50k... i kinda miss the period when it was under reno... =)

DS>> thanks and c u gals on fri..
happy.gif

Xinxin>> u renovated the entire place?
Now I'm really beginning to worry on the sum
of $ that will be spent on reno even though mine is a new flat.

Anyone taking or taken reno loan?

ds: think I gotta give the outing a miss even though I love Tampopo...wifey sick, have to take care of her
sad.gif

missy: no need to worry too much, new flat reno shldn't cost a lot unlike resale which needs a lot of dismantling/re-installing, hacking etc. Unless u are tearing down all the given fixtures by HDB then that's a different story.

my honest advice: try to refrain from taking a reno loan if possible
happy.gif

Thomas>> I told my hubby alrdy, no hacking unless there is really a die-die must to do so...
I'm keeping the flooring as it is cos flooring plays a big part in the budget. If poss, I wanna buy OTR cabinets instd of custom made too. And probaby pay by mthly installment for furniture that are ok to pay by interest free installment.

Thomas's wifey, speedy recovery. Alot of ppl are unwell lately. Moi is one of them
sad.gif

yes u are right, flooring/feature walls/built-in wardrobes/custom-made furniture are the killers in any reno. if u can avoid doing these or reduce to a small scale, u shld be ok
happy.gif

thanks for the concern...u take care too

Lolx.. Yup agreed w Missy..
Had my first gown fitting on Saturday..
Only managed to get a red gown, the color is one tt I won't wear in reality.. The co-ordinator mentioned tt the gown will b remade in other colors too due to its popularity n I can still change the colors. Is tentatively booking the wg in display but will b gg to second gown fitting in jul/aug

Haha bluestar me too, going to have a red evening gown, the co ordinator said red will be more outstanding in album. Am not a red person too. Going for my final fitting this wed, n my ps is next week, how scary

Btw 23rd oct brides, I think 23rd oct this yr is really super hot, I heard from my co ordinator that my bridal shop alone has 7 couples getting married on that day haha

thomas> food is nice and esp the group
happy.gif

bluey> my fren went down to BB last wk to chk out on the dates for their PS and she tried on a short gown that look like cheongsam on top with pong skirt... pink & white in colour... not bad... quite cute dress for ROM dress
happy.gif

BTW, happen to kw some1 from forum trying to sell away her EG since her AD is ardy over. price is consider reasonable from the material & BS she MTM the EG from... i din try it but got to see and touch it (actually is my fren who wanted to buy but abit too tight for her)

any gals here interested can PM me for more details

anybody here who r looking for household appliances, there will be a sale for Electrolux on 5 & 6 June (10am-6pm) at 11 Lorong 3 Toa Payoh, Jackson Square Block B Carpark

sale items are up to 50% discount

agreed with bluey that sometimes for gowns, we will wear something that we wont wear in reality...
be it colour or the style eg halter or heart-shaped neckline, veri low bare back, mermaid etc.. =)

gals>> any of you know where is the best to exchange for euro?
my hubby suggested chinatown but thought of asking the gurus here
happy.gif
once changed, my hubby has no choice but to bring me to Europe for HM. **hidden agenda**

the money changer in bishan j8 rates r not bad... chinatown one will be the chinese money changer at people's park complex... it's outside one near to lim chee guan... very obvious one as the queue is always very long de...

For money changing, can try arcade as well. Many money changers. rates quite competitive. I change my Euro there as well.
