Oh. Noble House. Went there once in May for a fren wedding. the place overall is nt bad.
the only ting i dun really like is tat they still open the Rooms or the side for outside walk in customers. as i tink my fren did nt bk the whole place. thus, quite noisy at a certain pt when all wan to listen to wat the emcee wan to say.
so think thats the con. but other than tat, the place n ambience is not bad. which i muz agree.
but heard tat noble house goin to close soon. so its still there next yr ar??

hi all,
my hubby and i discuss abt the angbao too.
Not giving to too many ppl. Only giving to jiemeis, brothers, driver, siblings, make up artiste, cousin who open door.
For niece and nephews not giving cos they not helping anyway.
For jiemeis and brothers, $28 each. But specially for my bridesmaid I give $188 cos I have to provide her with her dress and shoes that day.
For siblings, we individually set our own guideline but not exceeding $80. (for tea ceremony mainly).
The rest fixed rate of $28.
hotel staff and photographer we not giving as we felt we already pay them for the services.
Gate crash, set at $188. They be given 2 angbaos one is smaller one at $68 i think. They choose themselves.
This is not really the market rate. Just set something which both of u are comfortable with. Friends will not mind big or small amounts as it is just a happy occasion.

For me, i am getting ready for my PS next week and am busy with settling my ROM paperwork now.

yup there are quite a number getting married in jan 09. I am the most ks amongst all. I am at the stage of finalising details with the hotels for AD. Next week, i be meeting my hotel coordinator and now in the midst of ordering wines. The rest of the wedding stuff are done.

The tea ceremony we only serving to elders and married older cousins + immediate siblings. Those younger extended family not doing serving to us...or else so mafan, so many kids who dono what they are doing...

For the tea ceremony, we only serving to elders and immediate siblings. No married cousins anyway as I am the eldest at both sides. The younger extended ones are also not required to serve to us. We also skip it out as not much of them ard anyway. All my cousins are already young adults.
Our AD, we trying to keep it as simple as possible. We also try not to give out too much. As we are the eldest so far, dont want to set a difficult preceeding for the rest of the siblings to follow.
