I just completed my guo da li yesterday... finally 1 traditional ceremony done!!!

Food tasting also completed last week. Food is great! Just that the elderly dun seem to like the way the garoupa is cooked... hee~

I started sending email &amp; sms invites to frens as well... juz waiting for the replies so i can work on the guest list.

HI Parkview will have a revamped ballroom (artist's impression looks really nice) by Sept 09 and the banquet manager has been really patient with us, Crowne is a new experience and Hilton 'cos the reception is by the pool. hahaha...price wise, they're all about the same... :s

Crowne T3 never been before...although we have been to T3 for sightseeing lar... location wise a bit far (unless ur church is near to the east side or u provide transport for those who dun drive...coz the mrt journey can be quite long)...i am not sure if there is a thread in SG brides for this hotel (Crowne Plaza Changi Airport).... u can search for it and see if any adverse comments or anything to look out for...

hilton...i am a hilton BTB!! we are taking the grand ballroom due to the no of guests we are expecting...so far service level has been real prompt and we already have viewed the ballroom 3 times on different locations and the bridal suite... hubby is very satisfied....there is a thread in SG brides (under Banquets - Hilton Hotel)...so far i have gathered, no complains on food, service... hope it will be the same on my AD

Got my wedding rings sorted out last week. Food tasting for banquet just done on Sunday! Now busy sending/passing out the invitation cards and getting guests to confirm their attendance. Finalisation meeting with hotel next week, 3rd gown fitting in 2 weeks' with trial hair and makeup.

You're right hpc - it's already less than 2 months away!! Soon the day will come and pass in a blink of an eye! Ok hopefully slower than that so that at least we can savour it hehe

I'm having banquet lunch as well.

I insist on getting the gate crash highlights during my banquet. I have checked with few PG/VGs and some charge an amount for this.

What they can do:
1. get a 2nd VG to follow up so that the 1st VG can go back to edit.
2. ask your bro/sis to bring the videoed scene back to the office while their colleagues could edit.

So far I haven't confirmed any PG/VG yet as am still looking for a reasonable price.
