Hi Vallous & Desjo

After mths of preparation, the wedding ends very fast indeed. Now life after marriage seems to be aimless. Have anyone planning for kids or other commitments??
 


hihi not superfamous ... ya ... the coordinator really not very friendly ... got mood one @_@ ... hotel coordinators are soooo much more friendlier and helpful ...

how many tables did u hav for ur lunch???? i have 25 tables and havin prob trying to fit all ... and coordinator refused to let mi move the tables

Like Vallous, I m planning for honeymoon, likely to be in April... We're also paying off our 30-year-housing-debt! LOL. Kids... Let nature take its course ba. Only preventing till honeymoon, jus in case pregnant then can't go for honeymoon, then I will be very sad.

I can't help to think about the number of divorce cases nowadays.. Like a divorce cert is to undo what you have committed to each other. Reading through the forum on matters of the heart, I can't help but get a bit agitated when people are 'advised' to get divorce whenever there's a third party.

I wonder.. are marriages make to last nowadays?? If, a third party really appears somewhere down the road in the marriages, would we still be able to stick through it?

hmmm.. I guess marriage preparation course is making me think deeper.. haha

I think some people get married for the wrong reasons that you listed. Maybe most people nowadays, that's why the high divorce rate.

Or , I like to think that it's because we're much more educated and have more freedom and choices nowadays. Spoilt even. So much so that whenever a marriage doesn't work or bumped into a 'big rock', people just walk away.

In the past, our parents &amp; grandparents time, we do not have that much freedom and choice, esp for women. So a lot of us are stuck in loveless and sometimes even abusive marriage and can do nothing about it.

I kept asking myself too, whether I really want to get married or not, whether he's the one etc etc etc. I think it's probably the stress and the thought that I am going to be committing myself to 1 single person for the rest of my life is kinda scary. It takes a lot of courage... But lately, I have finally stop 'hu shi luan xiang' and now enjoying the process of preparing for my ROM. Hope you too!

Same sentiment. Decors, favors, wedding invitation, most of all, solemniser - all must wait till ard Jun to confirm coz now still to early...

So I'm focusing on honeymoon now. What with NATAS coming soon. I've persuaded him to stick to going Maldives but we'll go for 5 days only but he still insisted on good hotel and water villa. LOL
 
my decors will stick what the hotel give as long as fit our theme...very likely red roses as main...

favours and invitation have to wait...PS in june also...trying to arrange gown selection soon...

solemnizer mine is settled...

honeymoon just talked to eva last nite...most likely will be manchester, frankfurt/munich, zurich/vienna plus maybe 2 more cities for 1/2 day visit kind...so total of max 5 cities over 2 weeks. might be rushed so still need to work out more details. most likely not from NATAS as air promo not out so early...will be planning the trip on our own...prefer the flexibility...
 
elyse, I dun think I'm hu shi luan xianging.. i personally feel that is something that I question myself and really think deeply before the lifelong committment. It's something that my course is making us think through as a couple, which I think it's very relevant.

yeah the coordinator was quite bad, i know my DH is quite pissed off with her and wants to write a complain letter in.. i can't be bothered by it :P service was really nonexistent from her but the waiters were quite friendly. who's your coordinator?

we had 7 tables in the end, in the private room coz DH wanted more privacy. 25 tables seems quite crowded? how many tables can they accomodate in the main resturant? if it's just 1 or 2 more, i think ok lah.. i think the decor in the main resturants is quite nice, not too cheena :P

dont worry about changing, keppel club definitely has changing rooms coz its a club mah!

Shynn, i think most BS tailor or provide jacket &amp; pants, shirt is up to you..

not superfamous: my coordinator is Rosie ... sometimes ok sometimes not very friendly ... they can accomodate 27 tables ... but it includes 4 of the private rooms and one table at the far end of the room ...
