Shep & LW> Yah. Actually we already compromised quite abit, like when they told us the design fee cant be refund, we just accept it though we wanted very much to have a simple 1page 1pic album. I hope they can compromise too.

Towards the end of the call, the boss kept challenging me to bring those layouts that can be nice yet with only 2-3 pics per layout. He kept insisting that my album is in landscape form while those that I saw might be in portrait type. I remember yours being landscape. Actually I only wanted them to add simple borders like the link that you just share today (the black one with only 2 pic and dotted line at the side or the layout before that, also just 2 pic with some flowery design at the side). May I show these 2 layout to the boss to prove to him that these are simple, nice and yet I don't see these in my layouts. I wanted to show them this wkend when I go down for my gown selection and the staff told me cannot, only can Monday. So book monday appt but I am thinking whether to go anot. Sigh.. don't know why need to prove myself on such thing. I suppose they should know to stop processing since I am going down on Monday.

He told us that its do-able but quite troublesome, and he was changing the background for us on the spot that time. And when we leave, he still doing the background to be grey. But when we view the layout on sat, the background of that pic is still pink. We compromised on our own and didnt insist to be grey. Sigh... maybe we should have be difficult customer from the start, to insist that this pic should be grey as he promised earlier. well one thing i feel about layout (now everyone have different likings, so it might just be me) is that the simpler it is, the nicer.
After all, Less is really More.
So it will be nice to do away with those flowers, feathery texts and twirly-wiry stars away from your layout. Yeah they might be nice to look at now, but this kidda design cant withstand the test of time.
10years or 15years later, it might look outdated? No no no offend to anyone really..
I feel simple squares and such can seldom go wrong cause they are so classic.

Shir : if you feel uncomfortable about your ablum just tell them ba... cos in the end you are the receiving end. if you dun like, you also will not take out see and will even fear showing it to others to see...

If he dares to reply cannot do very troublesome, reply back, oh... u are designer mahz... of coz need your help in troublesome jobs, simple one, I can do myself le... right... that's why u are called designer.

Shir > Today is Wed Only. No slot on fri, sat & sun? My feel is that they might not want you to go over weekend cause usually bridal are packed. And they might not want to conflict with you where there are many couple around. Usually they are more quiet on mon, cause the last time i went digio on mon, it was really quiet.

I know how it feels when things are not going so smoothly, perhaps, like what the other ladies said, don't delay settle it once and for all, if not it will keep bugging you and you'll be having sleepless nights.
Maybe, just call them to ask them to hold first, then tell hubby what happen, make an appt tml. Go there and talk to them nicely. If you can't do the talking, let hubby do it. And you can add on bits. Hmm... the most important thing is, insist that you are the paying party, you have your rights.
Even if you are the obviously the person in the wrong, still insist that they shld correct the mistakes and do it your way. =)

does tt mean that if the bridesmaids get to keep e gate crashing money, we don;t have to give them another red packet?
For my bridesmaid, they get the gratecrashing money and another red packet from us. My mum and MIL will be give a little token too. Maybe $12 or $8... I guess there is no market rate. Depends on whether the couple can afford and also how close you are with your JM and XDs? Don't think they are helping you for the red packet.
Junel: if they said: Shir, u have already confirmed that it is okay for the background, Shir can reply, isit? Already said my memory failing mahz.. moreover, u all will take priority in clients' happiness right?
