I'll be having my ROM on 07 June 09, which is my 8th anniversary.
Still finding a good JP so I can do the efiling asap.
Trying to settle all the planning stuffs on my own as FH is busy with work.

hi girls! i'm ROMing on 10 June at Peony Jade, Clarke Quay. Went to pay deposit with the in-laws last night.. Very excited but I think so far we've only e-filed and booked the place and JP. Haven't done anything in the line of dress and shoes and so on.

Wow, I havent manage to efile yet cos unable to find JP still... duno how... Do you call the JP up directly or email or sms? I dont really know what is the best way. What if I call him when hes in the middle of work and then call him at night, its eating into his family time?

blur_btb and baobeilious, I actually emailed all the JPs on the list plus the additional solemnisers haha.. talk about kiasu right? most of them reply in about a week. must wait before they all come in! don't panic yet cos some need to look for organizer etc

talking about AD we havn't planned anything.

next year is tiger year, supposedly a bad year for Monkey (bf) to get married. ifwanna do at year-end quite pressed for time even if we start now.. currently dunno if we still wanna ngeh ngeh do next year or wait till 2011.

anyway haven't get flat also! applied for punggol regalia but not within shortlisted list.. i applied for nautilus as well so keeping fingers crossed!

piggie yeo: I dont think have to wear dinner dresses bah.. I skip the long ones. I got a short one from Daniel Yam.. about S$150.. champagne gold and quite lively.. can still wear it for other occasions thereafter. Dont like to waste

blur_btb and cheenapork, i got the reply from Jude Yeo and he is not available on my rom date. aniwei, i managed to invite the grassroot leader from Jurong Spring CC - Frankie Goh that solemnise my sis' wedding few yrs back.

cheenapork: you also like punggol estate? me too!! i applied for punggol sapphire but din managed to get any. =( not sure if i wanna apply for nautilus as it's far from the main punggol mrt which will also have the shopping mall/recreation centre.

baobeilious : I applied for punggol sapphire too and managed to get a 4 rm flat there. My fren got 5 rm flat. My Q number is outside the quota so when we were invited to select, only left very few, but still managed to find 2-3 better units

where did you girls get your bridal package from?? and when do you plan to do AD?

i actually applied regalia but outside of the quota. hopefully can get something decent.. FH's parents going to see for us since we will both be working. now applied nautilus too but it's really so ulu!

my bridal package offers me an rom dress but i dunno if I want to take it... maybe it would be too formal at sentosa...

My AD is 29 May 2010.. wondering if ppl know there is no need for ang pows at my solemnisation

Cheenapork: ooh, my BS is in JB CitySquare.. Came highly recommended by my friend. I quite like their natural, undramatic style,so i signed with them. Cheap and good!

Cheenapork: I'm not signing up with any bridal studios yet so will be wearing my own dress for the ROM. FH is a freelance photographer so it wasn't too difficult looking for a makeup artist and photographer. We havent really discussed abt our AD, probably 2-3 yrs later? Currently saving up for our home.. just booked a unit in Dew Spring @ Yishun

don't you think that the older we get, the "poorer" we become? haha!

i got my rom dress from black closet or something at lido isetan. cheap and good also! sales assistant was very kan chiong and nice heh.

mmm, I'm not sure if mine is a popular date but its a sunday. the popular ones replied that they could not make it, the others no answer. one replied to ask us check with her secretary for her schedule.. faintz...
