Anyway, berry_egg... feeling excited for you too! I'm sure it's gonna be a fun experience. For me, I didn't quite feel the fun experience of being a bride until I went for gown-fitting.

Haiz... Very sian today... So many late nights working until I've fallen sick. Taken MC but still have to work from home... It's been such a crap start to the year, at least work-wise...

my FH wan a good mattress.. so we waiting for simmons to have sale since i flip flip when i sleep..

any recommendation where to get those solidwood resort-style furnitures for bedroom.. although Barangx2 have nice ones, but the price steep..

Simmons according to the salesperson whom we talked to.. is just more on the spring loh.paying for branding only... and from the forum on simmons thread.. no good reviews on their sales people... so gotta be careful.... Good mattress doesnt necessarily means good brand also.. as in.. those high end brands... we also asked about simmons and sealy... if u really have the money and all that then go ahead... else... there're plenty of reasonable brands... mattress has soooo much variety... from few hundred dollars to few thousand dollars... also mattress.. hahaha... those who buy cheap ones also been sleeping on it for years... sigh... headache hor? with so many brands ard also.. make us more headache.. keke...

How resort style u want? U got ur house liaoz?? customised it loh.. then u can have it any way u want it...

so i'm staying with inlaws for the time being =(
 
we didnt managed to get our own flat yet.. will be moving with ILs first.. doing extreme makeover to the room..

we like resort style since we went krabi for holiday.. felt relax to live in such environment..

I met up with my new friend, aka the cupcake girl. These are the minis that she baked for me to try. Orange and lemon-flavoured. Everyone thought they tasted good! Now I gotta check with the restaurant whether they allow these cupcakes to be brought as display and wedding favours. I'd probably like to have 2 hearts on top than one. What do you all think?

Meiling: Still cannot get appointment. I'm now waiting for the next results in April.

gals, tpy is really hot area.. got consider other areas? maybe the next bimonthly? my fren got a punggol unit in dec bimonthly.. cheap and good.. the flat layout very nice.. squarish rooms and bomb shelter is in kitchen

or how about buy a smaller older resale flat first? tell u hor, actually we didn't have to pay any COV for our resale.. it's a long story.. tell you gals next time
 
meiling, I did my food therapy juz now. Even ate chix curry, yu sheng and tangyuen.

Jac, I do hv a backup plan, though it's not very desirable. For the time being, I can stay at my bro's condo, since he only goes there on Fri and Sat nites. But the problem is his place is very far. There'll be a lot of travelling if I stay there.

yeah... it's really sucky for couples trying to get married these few years... think it's seriously going to screw up the national fertility rates... no flat>no home>no babies. i doubt they care about that... but who cares right? they just want more and more rich foreigners to move here with their $$$...yesyes it's impt for our small economy... it's to keep our nation competitive =\

Supply crunch in the housing market for the next 2-3 years will keep prices high... think it's better for us to wait for it to tide over... if not we'll be the next generation of people who bought at super high prices and be in negative equity in the future.

but of course thats only if there's a spare room somewhere to stay... just have to keep balloting anyhow and sooner or later they have to give it to you! don't give up ok! meiling> hope ur mom will stop nagging~ it's not as if u guys don't wanna move out also... but really no flats then how... move to punggol/sengkang next time also jialut... not much value and it's hard to sell...

Lost, Providencia, sorry for the late reply. I travel so much for work and it is almost impossible to plan for a wedding! Me and my fiancee are only in Singapore on weekends. Looks like we will likely go with Raffles Hotel as we are looking at only 10-15 tables. Wedding coordinator refused to budge on all things so cant negotiate at all =(
 
Shermie, with your schedule, it's really very tough to plan.No one to help you? It's quite expected that RH is a tough nut to crack, but you may try again for small things, i managed to get 5% more invitation cards, and waivage of corkage for first 4 bottles of wine from FSH, very miserable compared to the rest,but at least it's something

its so difficult to get a place to stay .. unless resale is in option then i am sure there will be plenty available..

its finally friday.. but i have another day to go tomorrow... at work then i will have to rush for my fitting with M.G. Well well.. i hope i find something i really like and i wont have to MTM my gown and can use it for my EG instead. hehe.
