personally, it's less vital of how the event may proceed (I am always less concerned of what I have little or no control over), but rather, my emphasis is weighted on what we will be doing.
I think most people can't remember other people's wedding, unlike ourselves, cos it's OURS to remember. However, we can make a small difference with what we can do for them, to help them feel involved.
I am not exactly trying to 'earn' praises or compliments from guests or bridal team. I do really appreciate the effort and time they are willing to take out for my event. Just 'thinking' of being appreciative is not enough, putting the thoughts into actions, makes it more lasting.
Ok lah, I am a super duper emotional freak who will not survive with no feeding of emotions, so I like that to flow through in my event. I hope to bring down the superficial front to the lowest and want to really receive it with genuine feelings.. (LOL..)
