1. restaurants instead of hotels?
2. changing your date to weekday?

Wedding favours ur restaurant got provide? If not, the typical kinds are like chopsticks, salt and pepper dispenser, keychains. My friend DIY her own favours doing candles but in the couple's initials. That's sweet too.

Since yours is a small affair, you may want to personalise it?

secret, welcome to this thread. gelaine is right, since yours is a small affair, DIY your wedding favour adds a personal touch to it. if not hor, actually i feel that wedding favours is not a must, most of the time we will not keep the wedding favors we attend at wedding unless it can be used. btw when is your AD? if it is a popular date, may be advisable to book a PG coz nowadays PG also diff to book, esp the good ones.

psyduckie, based on your budget and no of tables, there are quite a number of hotels to look out for, but you have to call them up 1 by 1 to check lor.

*grins* Actually my cousin's kids also call me Auntie...But coz they grew up in Aust, the way they call Auntie doesn't have the same "ah soh" connotation that it has over here. Anyway, to me, it's correct wat. I am their aunt so sudalah =P

But if my friends with kids start calling me, I will hantam the parents first =P but heng I'm the first amongst my friends to get married so quite safe lah =P I will spoil market first..heh heh..

Btw, me getting excited coz in 2 days time I will be home and then can finally sort out all the wedding prep stuff!!! Got my FH to arrange to meet up with the AD PGs and think the most impt is to go get the hotel viewing. Stupid Fullerton said that they will get back to me but never so I have to wait until I go back to SG to arrange viewing and hatam them.
