Hi Jasmine,

I went to Mr & Miss wedding club before.. dun really like it.. they super hard sell and very "luo sou" keeping talking abt their package is cheap and good. They keep showing me the photos, and when ask abt the package, the sales guy dun want to mention abt it, until finish showing me all the photos in his pc, then talk abt the price.. (took 1 hour plus just to look at photos, me and fren almost fell asleep).
And i saw they trying to hard sell another couple who was there, 2 sales person attacking the couple.. i personally don't feel comfortable with the shop.

And just before i leave the shop, i saw one of their staff logging on to SG brides forum. Well.. i dunno what is the staff doing on the forum, but i just feel that something not right with that shop.

hi gals,

i'm only 1.5m and already 55kg!!! OMG, i really wish to drop to about 47 - 48kg lor. i'll definitely have to exercise more regularly and eat more carefully since all the slimming packages are just well above my budget.

i like swimming!!! hehe.

I love divine gowns too!! but they are exp... Sigh... U can try silverlining.. They are slightly cheaper and their style is very similar to Divine.. Alternatively, u can go to another good BS and get them to MTM a gown similar to DIvine's style..

PG told me that nowaday they dun let ppl up to mount faber the top part leh ...he told me is blocked...u went there recently? Any idea if we can go up for photo?

hi chrisl,changi village hotel rooftop is a good idea,i like the place there,but i dropped e idea bec my hubby says is too extreme east and transport is a bit problem.you may wish to consider carlton hotel,also outdoor or u wan indoor,can consider my venue,furama riverfront hotel,is more central area,is held at the indoor waterfall lounge,there's a waterfall behind e scenes,heee..

welll..me also just started my facial package,so cannot join u all.maybe can meet u all for dinner or wat lol....

Yuki, if central is raining, ask those who are at east side if its raining, then u can go places like changi broadway. or ask west side ppl and see if its raining there, then u can go jurong birdpark. and since u are gg sentosa, get their hotline no. and call them before u go if its raining at the time u are moving off. Dont worry abt the weather, ur PG should be able to advise u what to do next if its rain.

Really? Hmmm... I have the same feeling but was a little surprise by the price...so much lower than the other BS. I was stuck there 2 hours =( anyway think we will go JB for the BS... cos we have lots of time =) thanks for the sharing XHZ

Hi Iruka,

Don't think that having a guy coordinator is a prob cos' so far wen i encountered male coordinators, they wld ask their female collegues to come help wen i had trouble getting in or out of the gowns. Furthermore, if I am not wrong, Dio Gio has 2 lady designers, so wen u're having ur fitting they wld b there to c how the gown fits u rite? Anyway, u'll most likely have ur FH, mum or galfriends there for their views and of course they cld double up as helpers ... ... : )

Btw, did u go dwn for the fashion show at hilton hotel last month for their fashion show cos' they were having some promotion then. Afraid I can't rem how much/details of their package though... ...

Last time i also considered going to JB BS, and ppl told me that Venus is good. but then when i actually asked my frens who took package from JB, they say its not worth the time and effort, although much cheaper, but its very tiring to travel. That's why in the end, I still sign with bridal shop here.

But I think signing with JB bridal shop will really save alot, shld be quite ok. Maybe u can shop ard the bridal shops here, and make JB your last stop, so at least u know how much u going to save.

My AD is at Grand Plaza Park Royal hotel, opp. peninsular plaza.

You should book your venue early, since ur AD is on a weekend. Happy wedding preparation.

Hey Pandalic,

Tucky was busy with 2 weddings in Oriental this June, he also remembered that I'm gonna sign with Oriental soon. So he was nice enough to call me and my fiance yesterday and told us what to look out for in Oriental. Thats wat i call extra service yeah.

Think it is ok with a guy coordinator but it depends on how comfortable you are. Personally I will prefer a lady coordinator becos the gowns usually need help zipping etc... the designers will not be there each time we go down. So quite up to you loh....btw, I'm a Digio bride myself.

Take your own sweet time in uploading the pictures. The sizes are big, so it will take some time in putting them onto the server. Glad to hear dat you have found your banquet venue.

As for your stress, do you eat or snack often to relieve your stress??? If yes, my advise is to strongly cut down on junking and snacking as stress buster. Exercise more (with your hubby as your partner). When I am stressed, I lose my appetite, but somehow I try to eat more normally for the sake of my health.

I haven't found a venue for my dinner in SG. KL's settled liao.

Your weight and height are very ideal leh. I suggest you tone up instead of losing weight. This way, you will be a radiant bride on your AD

It seems to me you are quite ok too. As you said, just maintain lor... too thin dun look good in wedding gown.

Go go go and 'jia you' with your exercises. Swimming and jogging are very effective.

Hmm...As for me, I dunno whether I am too thin or just alright. Me is 1.65m with ~50kg. So what I do is just tone up especially my abdominal area.
