which BS you have take up from ?
Actually, for my own viewpoint, it really depends on whether you like their OTR gowns.
For me, as my BS has a wide range of gowns to choose from, I prefer to take up OTR gowns. No need to spend additional $$ just on gowns.
I would tink it's really up to your own preference, whether you are willing to pay additional just for the MTM gowns.
As if you take the MTM gowns, you will have to take the risk that it will not be made exactly what you really want, and end up you have to make do with it as it has already been customised for you.

As for me, I would rather that PS is nicer. Sometimes it depends on the professional shots that the PS will take rather than whether the gowns are nice.
hehe.. just my point of view...
As for your PS, the earliest that you can choose is in March I suppose since the Dec and Jan is already taken up. So better booked the slot asap... It's still ok one.... no need to feel sianz leh... It should be a happy occasion, ok?

hi wendy. yes, i'm really happy to see someone with the same hotel too. everyone who knows i got merchant court told me they liked it... whenever they go there for banquets. hope it is so for mine too.

i didn't book the hotel during march's wedding show. i was there but i think the dates for 2007 was not out, nor the price was ready? i booked it sometime in june this year. price increased.

Drea, can you not shift your tuition earlier so that you can make it? coz think Thurs is working day so pple will not meet so early. Maybe around 7-8? What do you think guys? I am most probably touching down at 2pm so I can make it anytime. Will just be shaking legs at home. Alternatively, we can meet earlier so that Drea can make it and Drea can shift her tuition backwards.
If really cannot, then we will shift the venue to downstairs of Drea's tuition block so that I can box her. Hahaha...

And on FH going, I don't mind but my FH might not be in SG as he is on biz trip. But you can always feel free to bring them along coz the more the merrier.

And on the note of gift registry, thought if pple don't get gifts from the registry, then they gotta give ang pow? At least, that is my understanding of a gift registry coz pple will feel paiseh for giving you something that is not in the registry so if they don't want to buy something from there, they gotta give cash. I thought it might be a subtle way of telling pple to give only the gifts we have chosen or money coz I don't want to end up with a lot of pressies that I won't use like my sis's wedding where pple give "antique" tray or gold plated chopsticks. Can pawn or not?

talking about ROM, most of the guests on my hubby's side gave ang pows, my side gave vouchers from those major electrical stores. there were a few who came empty handed, but i did tell them as long as they were present, we will be happy. as for banquet, i guess most of us would LOVE more ang pows. we need 'coverage'. hehe.

I went to my first BS tonight! Went to Ritz Coutre and I fell in love with this gown that has intricate crystal beading on it... v beatiful! And we were v impressed with their service too.

Altho we're tempted to sign up with them, we're hesitant to do so without shopping around first... anyone have recommendations for BS that is not pushy, minimal haggling, with packages ard 3-4K? I heard the Tanjong Pagar stretch is quite scary.

morning gals,

went VC yesterday n didn't koe it was their grand opening... they had fireworks for a gd 10-15min, beri nice n spectacular. beri romantic but too bad i was there with my sis n nt hubby. haha.. they has a huge screen in front of the mall broadcasting the grand opening concert (for VIP oni) held at the promanade. they invited stefanie sun leh. her "live" singing really power sia.

after dat went 2nd floor to Earle Swensen for dinner (my sis treat mi). beri gd service and nice food (big portion) for a reasonable price. 2 soup of the day, crayfish pasta for 2, calamari & 2 ice-blends for oni $60++. we expected the bill to be $90-$100++.

whee, ritz is nice! 3-4k with photoshoot or without? U can try wedding present and silhouette also. Around the same range and not pushy....if u want, u can try mine also but his is about $4k without photoshoot...so a lil on the ex side but if ur interested, just lemme know yeah? =P I did think of chartering a bus but then tt means everyone has to wait for each other kinda thing...right now considering carlton...the good thing is that ROM got more options...but now this means I more headache also coz now too many choices...haha

In office again!

Jazol, its always the case... Those who dun pay always got loads of comments on the food & invitation cards etc. My Husband's BIL aka â€œå¤§ç‚®çŽ‹â€ commented to the restaurant whether we can have bear as favours instead of chocolates coz bears are cuter! Faints!

Smilez, I will be paying extra for my MUA to stay throughout... Pay another extra $200-$300 to save the hassle and look mei mei!

I'm also in office now.. but I'm all alone, so I'm not doing my work. I brought my wedding invitation cards & I'm writing them now in office.. wahaha.

I prefer to give wedding favours that people would use or treasure rather than just fling in their drawers when they get home. But I guess it really depends on the guests also lah, whether they appreciate our gift

Andrea: the price is inclusive of photshoot: $3888. They were really great n flexible cos my FH and I had strange requests, like we didn't want outdoor shoot n we wanted several portraits instead of the album and they were willing to do that without extra charge, offering substitutes for the things we didn't want.

Yeah, I was very lucky. There is this sales coordinator (left already) who was very enthusiastic & persistent when I called them in Feb. If not for him, I would not have sign up for MC. I was also told that the price for Sept 07 is not out yet for the March 06 wedding show, but if I want the perks, I will have to pay extra $30 per table or up my tables to 43. I was not willing to pay the extra $30, hence I negotatiate with him for 42 tables instead lor. But it seems that the price did not increase, still $828 per table right?

gals... i chose my gowns already! wow, its really quite tiring but really exciting...hee hee my evening gown is quite figure-hugging.. now have to lose weight to look nicer in those gowns! =)

wat do u gals think abt wearing corsets? Iâ€™ve never wear before but my colleagues suggest that I wear so that the figure will look nicer.. but I worried that it will be too uncomfortable and it worse!

Saw a unit yesterday & we liked it though must renovate quite a bit. But location is good & price friendly, hehee!

Bringing his parents to view the unit tmrw and we may also be placing our deposit today (hopefully the seller don't turn back on his decision).

i think so leh, watched a taiwan TV show by "Yi Neng Jing" she managed to push stuff from the legs, tummy and waist all the way up to the bust! really amazing just that i dunno if it will be uncomfortable...
but must really see the back of the gowns, if low cut cannot wear...

Asking them is just out of respect.

As expected, when my FH spoke to them on the phone yest, already they were making quite a bit of comments, blahblahblah.

the price did increase! if i remember correctly, by $30 as they mentioend. there are also no more perks. mine is just the standard package.

arh... if only i saw your sales coordinator that day too! but then again, at that time i haven't decided which date i will wed. and yes, mine is 42 tables too... so i guess they won't need to rearrange the tables after your dinner for me.
