I can recommend one caterer, i think Kriston not bad.

hmm...my BS package already included GST liao, i think. hiaks, better go home and read the invoice again! As for hotels, even if table price at nett, still got the corkage charge, wines, beers etc etc....if upgrade dishes, I think they also based on +++ one....but hotels more open to nego ba to absorb the increase....
 
the date lyon is talkign about is 8th Dec. Same as me. kena same church somemore. So hopefully if I do a lunch reception, then she got time to do for church decoration also
 
jhoo, me too wan soft copy ....coz i wan to choose n pass to christopher for montage ...but they keep delaying ...now dunno when ...do they give u back the design they done or only the normal photo in soft copy? i not taking package, we booking airticket , hotels n everything ourselves lor ...now studying the map coz FH wanted to drive ard there...scare we lost our way ..haha

hmm kaye, I wanted to take Kriston initially too but my sis-in-law had negative feedback about them when they do the catering for her hubby's graduation ceremony 2 months back. She said the food is not so nice. My FH and I decided to drop it in the end.
 
but furnana said quite a number of ballrooms wor..

so far i think places like excelsior got...

but its for 8 course only. for 9 course,excelsior is $788.

for Hotel rendevous max capacity is 22 tables. its also more than $700. i think 2007 price is about $728 or something.

andrea true its possible .. but its not a lot of places wor........

i also thought can stick to $600-700 budget initially.. but if u look around.. actually its really hard...

there are places that are $700 and below for a weekend dinner.. but not many choices.

hmm.. unless there were some places i didnt cover..

furnana....if wan hotel ballrooms, strictly $700nett and below....excelsior and new park. So far, that's the only places with that kinda prices. Your friend also can try Orchard Parade's Club Chinios. Most restuarants still can below $700 nett for weekends...now hotels, tuff.

But be warned lar...excelsior is quite run-down (outside wise). I dunno how's the inside looks like coz my FH took one look at it, then say no no no no
 
ya.. excelsior outside looks a bit lok kok.. hehe

i think that area still got shops selling those kind of adult stuff near it... like quite scary leh...

the opposite one better... u can try GPP. but i think its $868 for weekend prices

diaodu, i saw the Xi 1 ....seem not bad at least not the whole sheet is Xi ...the quilt cover u oso got the Xi 1? my frez suggested that i dun get the quilt cover coz she say next time not much use so i still thinking ...they told me next mth have new arrival so i wait to c any nicer :P

regarding the flora pen, it coms in a set of 4 at HKD200. according the gal who's selling them, you can choose fm the two colours as shown on the picture i haf attached yesterday. ivory or purplish red. she can also customise according to your wedding theme. the marker pens are brand new, so shd haf no problem in keeping them till dec'07. juz on case anyone is interested in ordering them sometime next year, i've indicated the website here http://blog.yam.com/my_elegant_wedding
