hey maez, my shoe size is also 4! And I also have to wear 4" heels! Cos my FH is very tall mah

Well, one place I went to and I think I'm going to get my shoes from there, is Essex Walk. Paradox shoes. Gorgeous shoes and they have 4" ones too! If you see a design you like but is only 3" you can get them to custom-make the shoe to 4" and pay a bit more. Prob is the shoes there are quite ex. $300-400 a pair but worth it if you ask me cos the quality's definitely there. Essex Walk is at the basement of Palaise Renaissance (building next to thai embassy on orchard road).

Another place you can go to that's got high heels is Aldo but not very wedding-like shoes. You can go take a look. They have outlets at raffles city and wisma

Novo's also got some pretty looking shoes but i'm not too sure if they have 4" heels. Definitely have 3 1/2" cos i just bought one from there. Novo's at paragon, taka and many other places i can't remember now.

Tangs Studio @ Taka's (next to coffee bean) got really pretty shoes too! And Taka shoe section's got many many different brands. That would be a good place to start.

And if all else fails, there's always leapin' lizard where you can MTM your shoes. Hope this helps

wah.. i cannot imagine myself walking in heels more than 1.5 or 2 inches man... i pei fu you gals who can wear 3 and above! I'll fall right after i stand up after i wear them!

I actually asked my fiance if i could wear flats for my weddng... me wanna wear my teva sandals! I'll be the most comfortable bride around man! or like the bride in father of the bride. she wore white sneakers and replaced shoe laces with nice satin ribbon... under gown mah.. no one can see..

Needless to say, my request got rejected.

u all are so FAST!! ha ha ha ha... haven tot abt my wedding shoes but cos I have small feet around size 3 3/4 to size 4 depending on cut. I shall get dyeable satin covered shoes from Essex walk cos I intend to redye it in black once wedding is over so I can wear it again.

for EG, i haven decided.. shall see what colour EG is before buying.. I haven decided.. if not shall get basic silver.

bride, i've been to leapin lizard before but i find the cut a bit too roundish but they are good with embriodery/ lace applique shoes. paradox is more clean cut, i feel.

I asked before & they told me its crystals, which makes it pretty worth it since its only like $160+?! I saw some nice silver heels at takashimaya before but the workmanship didnt seem as delicate, so am pretty happy with this pair. Might use with my evening gown as well, save money. Hee.

hihi gals!!! me juz came bac fr my trip to BKK.. everythin was great except for d return trip.. flight was delayed abt 2 1/2 hrs..otherwise everythin went well.... bought lots of stuff.. esp shoes n slippers.. hehe.. n my hubby tailor made many workin shirts n pants.. luckily luggage was stil within d weight limit hehe

popie.. i bought my CS off the rack from a shope in novena square. you might want to consider OTR options?

anyway does anyone find it very uncomfortable wearing CS? i tend to slouch a lot, wearing the CS plus corset bra makes me feel like i'm tied to a washing board.. shoulders so stiff! =P

wedding prep wise, only just finalizing guest list and still looking for florist.

and wedding shoes too.. girls, where did u buy yours? i went to tangs and isetan and marina last weekend, couldn't find any suitable wedding shoes. panicking..

hey gals, me confirmed my food tasting on 8th Mar. Quite headache over the menu cos intercon is ala carte menu, so we hv to choose all the dishes amounting to the price per table. Wil b busier next few wks cos need to settle d printing of cards and ordered bedroom furniture. I intend to send out the cards before Qing Ming.

Btw, anyone has gd recommendations where to get reliable n nice bedrm furniture?? i need to get my new bedframe & a wardrobe. Alrdy ordered mattress fr Simmons. Heard there r few furniture showrms in Sungei kadut. Anyone been there?? Price really cheaper than other places??

yes, there are quite a number of showroom in sungei kadut. i have been there a few times. but u will need a vehicle to get ard the area as from 1 showroom to the other will need ard 5 to 10 min walk, some even further. as for pricing, i believe it is usually cheaper by ard 100.

i bought my living and dining room furniture from Red Apples. But as i have not receive the furniture, couldn't comment much. hope that this information is useful to you.

hi ribbons,

dyeable satin means it can be redyed into another colour. So I am buying ivory/white satin so it can be redyed into black again. No, I am not DIY dyeing myself because dyeable satin requires a certain process to make it dyed black but do not matt out the shine. I will bring back to Essex to redye as its cheaper (recalled she mentioned SGD68). FYI, i had a girlfriend who initially do not know about Essex so she was in Switz with her husband who was outstationed there and found a bridal shoe shop that redyed her wedding shoes for CHF75 (approximately SGD92 @ exchange rate of 1.22).

I am quite a shoe person as in I like to buy shoe so ya.. willing to set aside some budget for that.

agrees.. the thing with shoes for wedding is as we need to walk around quite a bit so its better to get a pair of comfy shoes to walk around in. So far I have been on the LOOKOUT for shoes whenever I can but none can be as comfy as custom made I guess. either straps too loose or the cut too big. AIYA u know my feet lah.. damn small... ha ha ha ha ha Another problem I have is I have a high arch on my feet so ya.. bo bian.. have to get custom make if I want (1) comfort (2) 3 inches shoe (3) nice to match WG.

Think me will have plenty of oppotunities to wear to friends weddings and such so ok lah.. worth to splurge.
