leafmemories. maybe i saw u in the redhill thread. haha. duno. anyway, u might wana ask ur contractor to wash for u. my contractor only wash once, the acid wash, after they complete the tiling. then after that some other construction took place. they dirtied the place. then the place was very dirty. cant tahan. so we went to wash. anyway my contractor super no experience. my electrical work was done after tiling after first coat of paint.

Blue Ginger's got really good food! I always go to their restaurant at Tanjong Pagar Road. Heard that their catering is good too, and the decor's very interesting. But they're a bit pricier. Think their menus start from $25 per person. Peranakan food always expensive one

currently doing up my guest list & table arrangements... is such a headache...
we have just finalised my nos of tables & the banquet arrangements with NH...they're such nice ppl & very accomodating... very happy with them so far...

i think i will be using their CDs for my background music, save the trouble for me to burn the CDs...can save the time for other stuffs..hehehe
btw, anyone has the CD title "Perhaps Perhaps Perhaps" ?

Jacquise: Not weird what. I also not getting VG. Maybe in future, VCDs and DVDs will not be used anymore, like laser discs, then u'll have to convert ur DVD/VCD into what ever latest gadget there is..

Ring wise, i also wear my everyday. We wannna get simple wedding bands, so that it will not clash with the diamond..

good morning and welcome back to.... THE WORK WEEK

it's been so many days of bliss that i almost felt like crying when i woke up this morning knowing i couldn't go back to sleep

actually it's quite interesting hearing you girls talk about house attacks cos we rented a very old place so it's hard to imagine the feeling. dunno why but i feel old places have 'warmth' and it's kinda like the place i grew up in so it's a nice feeling

i also heard about how newly weds didn't have to give ang pow in the first year but when i told my mum she said 'no such thing'. anyhow, in my family i think the generation above will still give us 'kids' even though we're married la. until we have our own kids, then the ang pows will be given to our kids. but what i don't understand is why we have to give to our unmarried cousins... some of which have already been working for a while..

but now the question is... if they are 'lower' than you in 'rank' but already married, then how? still must give?

Hi Phy o,

You need to confirm the dimensions of your hood and hob before they build your kitchen cabinet (after flooring and cabinet bases). So means that you need not buy first but you need to decide on the exact model that you would be buying.

What we did was to decide and then later wait for special offer/ last min to buy. The latest you need to buy would be when the carcass of the cabinet is installed.
