hello all....

crystal, i'll tt to you tomorrow.....
the past few days have been miserable for me....
i kenna gastric flu on sun then hb kenna on mon and andrea today..... so me and hb have been on MC since mon to wed...... worst is andrea's fever shot up to 39.7! mine was at 39 while hb was 38.9...... we really take turns to have fever lor.... today i tot i recover so went back office then i felt chilling so decide to work from home instead cos i got shooed by my colleagues to go home... then reach home, fever start as well as andrea's fever... so whole aftern i've been sponging andrea with a throbbing headache...... went to see GP and got medication except no anti-biotics..... on sun, i actually went to hospital cos i got super bad cramps..... so the A&E GP gave me a jab in my bums and hb was laughing all the way..... then he kenna his retribution yesterday.... cos he also got fever so end up go hospital and he kenna 2 jabs instead of 1 at the bums.... my turn to laugh at him...
today then my fever start but GP not keen to give another injection cos me preg so gave me fever med instead...... sigh.....

My ger's teething again, been tossing ard, can't get to sleep at nite..Applied teething gel for her also not much of use...poor ger... Can't finish her milk also, I tink its due to her swollen gums.When I spoon feed her the remaining milk, she can finish it... Haiz..

How to prevent water frm going into their eyes and ears when using a showerhead to bath them huh? Use a wet towel to cover their eyes?
 
Daphne, take gd care ok, muz be very hard when the whole family fall sick.
i still having the cough, so lasting... dunno why the viruses now very strong so u muz take care esp preggy now.

newbbi, i dun prevent leh when using showerhead. coz all along i use a scoop and will pour the water over megan's hair and head. but will warn her first la, like wash hair already or ask her look at bubbles,
she so far very used to the water over her head so if i use a showerhead, oso the same thing.but i seldom use it, i still use scoop lor.

I see..Cos now bery difficut to wash hair for charlotte cos she will cry and scream..so i tot of bathing her in the bathroom with a shower head when she is sitting lor..hmm..but if use scope hor, then the shampoo will go into their eyes when pour the water over their head hor?

newbbi- aldan also teethin nw. 4 comin out at the same time! but thkfully he's ok, stil drinkin n eatin as per normal. ytd brot him for the pneum jab, pray hard he wil nt develop fever. this wkend need to go 2 parties n mother's day dinner.

newbbi - i havent decided yet.. but i looking at titles by eric carle n sandra boynton.. u can check out e authors n e rnge of books.. mostly hovering ard US$2-3 bucks before shipping
 
newbbi- yalor 2 on top n 2 on the bottom. i gt a shock when i saw the 4 whitish substance! if all out, he wil hv 12 teeth le!
u gona bring char for the jab too? aldan was cryin even b4 the jab lor. cos he dun like to be pinned dwn. but aft tat, he was ok when i gv him biscuits. haha

bluegenie- my boy also fell n hurt his cheek. nw gt blue black n cos he's v fair so it's super obvious =(

wow, 12teeth? my ger has 4now..hehe..Ask u hor, aldan's top teeth hor, the front ones, is there a big gap in btw? Becos my mil always say charlotte's teeth bery ugly, say the gap so big one, where got like that..I told her when all her other teeth comes out, then the gap no more le cos of all e pushing lor...hiaz...

Ya lor, bringing her for e jab on 26th may after her bd wor..hmm.. so cute, tink i will bring biscuits for her too... Ahyo, aldan fell also?

ya he simply luv the baby bites biscuits so whenever fuss, jus gv him n he wil be quiet. hahah
yalor, sighz. ytd nite he was standin holdin on to the dining table leg thn who noes lose his balance n fell forward n kana his cheek.

he's doing well in playgrp, pretty adapted to it liew..now he knows to sa jiao with the teachers liew *headache*

teachers also say he last time so shy and well behaved now showing true colors..hahaha

gg to register him @ 25th this mth to PCF for nursery class next yr.

newbbi, i bathe andrea from the showerhead sometimes and sometimes the same way as pierced. for both, i never bother to cover the ears and eyes cos i feel that they gotta learn how to get used to it anyway....... and the bb shampoo shouldn't have too much foam if you are using those for toddler so it's ok... anyway, andrea is used to it and sometimes i tell her wash hair, she will auto tilt her head back for me to wash off.....
 
ting, i feel that its is cheaper to send ur boy to playgroup instead of PCF when he's 18 mth.

playgroup also 2 hrs program and PCF offering pre-nursery also 2 hrs program but is expensive by $20-30 lor although it will go directly to K2 if enrol PCF frm pre-nursery..

How much is the uniform you pay @ talentplus and PCF huh??? Jayden's ccc is charging me $25.00 per set uniform..so exp !!!!

for Talentplus, they charge $40 for 1 bag, 2 sets of uniform and a CD, i.e. their so called starter kit

for PCF, i have to wait til i go register my boy..
 
newbbi, i thk if she scream or cry using hte showerhead wont have much diff too, what about giving her things to play? i dun have much prob with megan coz she loves bathing and scooping the water,bottles, etc, no pt covering the eyes and ears like what daphne say coz they will only end up fearing even more. maybe u slowly distract her den pour water over she will be used to it.

crystal, wah, i spending a lot on books. hee... i dun mind getting some more.
mi sch regularly has those scholastic bk sales for kids and they have a section for presch books for the teachers. piang, i spent a lot coz the books are really cheap, $3-5 a bk. haha!
nx time i check if u gals wana order coz they are all gd buys.

I like Karen Katz for the peek-a-boo series, sandra boynton I got a few series keke... but i like Karen katz better coz the graphics much bigger and brighter.
eric carle is not bad for the hungry caterpillar and brown bear/polar bear books. coz the rest more for older kids i find.

That's about it. the rest are mostly I see nice, i buy. hehe...

hee, mi oso getting lazier with GD, but i try to when i go back early. now harder esp with the wkload. so tiring.

newbbi, crystal referring to the bk list by Scholastic. They tend to have bk sales in mi sch and have a list for younger readers so that teachers can buy too.

fyi - the age acceptance is for those children born 2 Jan 2004 to 1 Jan 2007 (Nursery to K2) for PCF 2010 registration. Entry for pre-nursery is 30 mths - 47 mths.

tink charlotte belongs to Y2012 registration if based on age acceptance if i m not wrong.

if charlotte go CCC, tink they cater from playgroup up to K2. so u dun need to go source ard for school like me now cos my boy din go CCC.

yes. cos based on age acceptance Issac is going to nursery next yr. he will slightly faster than other kids who is born in 2007 and will be studying together with kids born in 2006.

The 2010 PCF Registration is for kids born in 2005/06 (K1/K2) and 2007 (Nursery) lah... so need not worry much. Think ur char shld be register for 2012

Nope, Me not registered Jayden @ PCF. He will proceed from playgroup - Nursery - K1 and K2 @ Amazing Star liew, I have no intention to change school since he had adapt well. Cos if change school, have to start all over again.... I dun think he want as well.
