Had RSVP with most colleagues except for a few.

I had prepared the schedule in end April, but along the way, there are minor changes in timing. Now more or less finalised already. I had to finalised it before the helper's meeting so that can pass them the finalised copy of the AD schedule, roles and responsibilities list.

Actually, initially I wanted to brief all together, but after makan, naturally, the sisters formed a grp talking and the brother's another grp, thus I brief each grp seperately but meanwhile, introduce the key helpers to know each other. After I do thru the schedule and the duty list, then when I went over to brief the brothers, the sisters automatically went into 1 room for their tekan discussion and locked the room! No matter how I knocked, they just refuse to open the door

guess wat ladies..... there's this huge / gigantic moth stuck outside my window. and it's strange cos we are on the 15th floor and this moth is super huge! It's about 11cm with the wings spread out. and it's black in color with white strip across the wings. Beautiful and yet eerie....

Hi gals,
I wonder if u all use yr own ampoule during make up session or use the MUA's ampoule?
Because my MUA is charging me $25 for the ampoule which i think it is pricey.
Does anyone of u knows where can buy ampoules at cheaper price?

yes they both are from same mgmt so they allow me to transfer my deposit to Imperial Court Shark Fin lucky thg they still have the restaurant available on my AD the rest of the function rooms & multi purpose hall is booked.

ai ya my PIL very troublesome one always give me last minute wrk they now do not want to invite so many people so have to reduce my booking frm 50 tables to 35 tables. If I remain at Crown Palace they will combine 2 groups of weddg couple together which I do not want it that way will be very messy so I've gt no choice but to swop the venue.

It will look nicer holding it at a smaller place with such numbers rather than having a big ballroom but only half is occupied.

Lesser tables also better at least now i dun have to worry about losing $$$ and Imperial is nearer to our place me & hubby stay at Hougang and most of our relatives also stay there. The only disadvantage is the stage is much smaller than Crown Palace and I have to pay extra cost for the LCD projection screen.

Think its really personal preference whether to have PS or not.

There are many things that can be done to make a wedding memorable and PS for many gals is one of it and its really a beautiful thing cause it brings back fond memories of us brides in that lovely gown that we are wedded to our beau in.

But of coz it also doesn't mean that in not having PS, the wedding event is not a complete joyous occasion.

There are so many parts to a wedding - the gowns, the rings,the ceremony,the actual day phototaking, the pple close to our heart that attends our wedding that brings back fond memories. To me I feel the most important thing is that both the beau and the bride enjoys the whole wedding process whatever bits n pcs they decide to put in it that brings back many fond romantic moments. That is what I call romance! Heehee =P When everything joins together as a pc,the memories are truly sweet.

For me like Artemis,me not having PS too. Found a lovely journalistic AD photographer thanks to Edna's recommendation! to take my pics. =P

wow.. from 50 tables to 35 tables..
samller scale is easier to manage lah.. n dun need to develop so many photos for guests after wedding..

but the rest of functions room n nulti purpose hall is book, meaning there are other couples holding banquet there too?? then the carpark will be super crowded?

Hi ladies,

Wow, June is just round the corner. Bet everyone is feeling very excited, esp Sharlene, Icy & d woof who are all getting married next week!

I had a fruitful weekend - met up with my helpers, wrapped up all their presents, painted my bedroom, shifted some more of our stuff up to our new place and got my draft for my church bulletin approved by my pastor. *phew*

This weekend will be another exciting one coz it's my guo da li. Will be going around with my mum to deliver the cards to our relatives; luckily we don't have that many and most of them are staying at Clementi so we don't have to go all over S'pore. I hope to finish sending everything by late afternoon.

Thank you for your feedback.

You all so nice. But like Esther and Ning suggested, I am having my photos taken on AD and by a guy strongly recommended by my friend who's very into photography. It will be in journalistic style and I believe more meaningful to me then a photo session just for the sake of having one.

In addition, I know I would be too preoccupied on my AD to notice the photographer and get nervous.

I tend to freeze up and smile really weirdly when I am in front of a camera. Major stage fright personality.

Did not get the bedsheet, cos dun wan to retrict the color to red.. prefer to match the quilt cover and pillow cases with other colors like gold, white or yellow..more flexible and more lively, keke..

Yah may be I will put an extra note on my invitation cards for them to park either at the swimming pool or NYP open space carpark.

Usually december is a hot mth for weddgs almost every wkend also have many couples holding their weddg. My PIL every yr at this period can receive quite a few invitation up till January...

If I am not wrong inclusive of me there are 2-3 more couples. I think may be I will ask my guest to come in at 7pm so by the time they settle down i thk also most 8 plus better to give earlier timing then later.
