glad u enjoyed yourself in spite of the cockup leh... did u get carol to supply the drapes? ur hubby also so nice hor, cut your butterflies and hang up the candles... at least bothers to care abt the decor stuff..

so terrible abt the colour mix-up and the missing petals hor? luckily u have the petals from carol... i'm very happy with my diy petals, very easy, and those i plucked on friday in the fridge still looked good leh... just sprayed a bit of water and put in plasric bag and chuck into the vege compartment... maybe the plasma-cluster working huh?

so u didn't get to eat your wedding cake?

our AD same, 08 OCT 05. Actualy i have viewed Hilton ballroom, tats one of my choice but stil cannot resist MM perks, so go 2 MM.

Lynn, yes i got the petals n organza drape frm Carol. Her petals v v fresh and big pieces. I collected on Sat and kept in fridge's vegge compartment, den transfer to hotel's mini-bar. Den scatter b4 event and my gerfrd scattered some on the hotel bed. Till midnite, the petals no brown edges at all....i still use those on the bed to bathe inside bathtub...hahaha...

We very bold loh. Dropped by Goodwood Florist on eve of AD and spotted they did up very nice hanging vase using wire, sticks n vases. So we bot 20 pieces and I went to did my mani/pedi. Afterwhich went to meet Carol to collect stuffs and look for march-in CD. Then at nite hubby did all the 20 hanging vase deco.

Didn't get to eat the wedding cake. And hor...BIL n sister did chocolate craving of 4 yorkshire terriers on the cake leh...so sweet of them...a very pleasant surprise for us. And the chicken pies they did for us were so fresh n warm tat the warmess was still there till end of dinner

Bot 12 botles of red wines. Thumb up for the Penfold my frd recommended. Very nice for tat price under $20. My guests only consumed 4 bottles and we gave away the remaining 8 bottles to families and helpers

Sure sure will share fotos but think they only ready in another 5days time

My AD photographer, very cheery chap need to do some editing.

Btw, in the end ...hahaha...the every last min we engaged a videographer...those non-wedding type one lah to capture the event. Cheap cheap..$100+ only

Hi Virgo,

Did u take any food during the detox program? Mine is taking organic juices, tea.. Mine is totally water for the 6 day program. Actually for detox program, it is better to take twice a year.
The 2nd & 3rd day are the worst. Having headaches & feeling tired due to carbohydrates withdrawn

No wonder have this headache I thght my migraine is coming. Yes mine can take w light diet so I took just dishes w/o rice. I can't take just juices because of gastric so my plan is to go w light diet cut down on carbohydrate.

My experience wif Whitelink so far has been excellent..unlike some of the negative feedback from other brides from the WL thread...They have been great n took initiative to actually call me up to arrange my 1st appointment but i haven got the time to go down yet.. The person i signed up with is also very good n accomodating..I got quite a good deal from her i must say..Hence if u r reali keen to sign up when the time come, i intro u to her ya...coz i was intro to her too by my friend..then u can get a better deal..email me when u have firm up yr choice n i tell her to give u a call..dun wan to post her name on the website in case others come in to see..

Well i din check out other BS coz i like WL gowns n saw that alot of my friends PS was reali nice..n moreover i personally tried the MUA from WL for my ROM as well n she is nice to work with hence be using her for my AD n PS as well..I actually signed up with them during their roadshow n i be going down to the kaki bukit branch for my 1st apppointment coz think more variety n nearer to my home.. Juz my 2 cents worth..hope that it helps

Juz have to write something in this thread...Well sad to disappoint u that i am totally not such a person to use friends to spite someone..Guess u like to assume things n think that pp will do that..It has never even cross my mind about it at all. wow guess now we know whose the one with the idea..Sad to say..

Second of all, despite wat happen, i have never openly post what happened bet us in the thread coz no matter what happen, i have basic respect for u as a person even if we r not friends now n hence will not write such things in a public forum. Well u have different approach to dealing with this matter n hence i dun wish to comment if it is right or wrong. Coz everyone is an individual with different thinking. However i dun feel that it is right of u or anyone from this thread to start calling people nasty names as i have never resort to calling pp names unlike what u (zoeanne) have done. All of u have form opinions based on zoeanne version of the story n i dun wish to comment coz she is yr friend n from this thread. But calling pp nasty names..that is simply not right. The furthest i went was admitting that u r not my friend anymore. Never once did i use nasty names calling on you. This is basic courtesy n i wont start calling u names no matter what names u called me b4 or now coz my parents taught me that it is just not right.

I also wish to clarify once n for all that i am not out to gather all my gfs to join the cardio boxing bec of u. I din even know that u n yr gfs be joining till my friend came into yr thread to look coz she is planning to get married in sept 05 as well..Hence frankly all of us r there to exercise coz we wan to look good on our wedding day n not to "spite" someone..Does not makes sense to join juz to spite someone rite? All of u have to agree that joining such classes r always more fun if u have friends with u hence it makes sense that i am asking my friends if they r keen to join coz we can motivate each other n keep each other company. I have no problems with any one of u being there..we can juz simply concentrate on the exercise n ignore each other.

I can understand that all of u will side n support zoeanne coz u all belongs to the same thread n r close n now friends. But i think that the name calling n making assumptions abt me shld stop.That is basic respect for a person.Thanks.

I give u my respect initially of not exposing you nor your nick at public forum.

I had never once expose u in this public forum till your post to me at Oct thread.. so don't accuse me of lacking of Basic Courtesy. Now it is you yourself who is eager to come out and let everybody know who is the person who initiate this speaker incident.

Ya, older generation like my mom also don't want table number and she feel that it is rude to RSVP. Their thinking and our thinking are different. That happen to my sister's wedding and she told me that in the end, need 1 extra table and luckily my bro-in-law has 1 more spare table. Her in-law also feel that RSVP is rude.

For my mom, when my relatives arrive will look for my mom, my mom will than allocate seat on the spot. Maybe you can make a clear point to your fpil to invite only imeediate relatives, no those 10 years meet once relative, and close friends only. And also try to "act" no $$$. If they love your FH, they will know what to do.

Just my opinion.

hmmm... luckily my mum said she gonna do the RSVP herself, n told me who're vegetarian. she did it for my bro's wedding too. n my relatives r responsive too, telling us the no. of pax coming lor. but still ve last min - not coming one, or add-in lor.

but not my FFIL side. they feel bit paiseh. only last nite, FFIL told us - he tik "1 or 2" of his frenz is/are vegetarian. me shock. trying veri hard doing the table arrangment. intend to ve 11 pax in a table if there's vegetarian. no waste of food mah. hee... sigh!

I went to the usual place lor, like Sentosa, Fullerton, esplanade..
because of the bad weather, the places which I initially wanted to go was left out. I wanted to go Holland Village and Labrador park for some unique shots but the travelling distance is a little long, so went to nearer places.

Your photoshoot is coming right? All thanks to you gals that I went for a meni and pedi. It's worth it cos the photographer will take close shots of your fingernails. Remember to take those natural colours like shiny white or if your nails are long enough, do a french mani. Ha, a lot of OD poses, we will have to retake and retake cos we were blinking our eyes.

Wait till you gals go for your photoshoot, then you will realise its very tiring but very fun. Also, remember, dont wash your hair in the morning. Wash it the night before. I washed my hair in the morning and the MU was complaining its quite hard to style my hair as the hair was too soft.

As for guest book, i thinking of asking my photograhper blow up a big piece with us (wedding shots)at the background then guest can sign on it. Few of my gfs done it very nice and unique.

villafrang changed their garden setup and din inform us in prior, the change disturbed our plan alot. Their event manager is worst, upset us so much that we no longer feel comfy holding our wedding there. So we changed to Amara 1mth ago.

Michelle is Amara's in-house wedding planner. Dun think is the same as urs lah. Btw, when is ur wedding ah?

The forever friend is very cost, per pair cost ard $110. So ex....worse come to worse..cannot find, just use the floral decor provided by the BS lor. Heee..

Yes on our own. Of course u plan according to wat u thk u can take for every diet no nd to follow wat others are eating because of diff health condition.

Like me I noe I have gastric so I refrain frm takg with juices but will take it with less carbohydrate food. Of course if I eat during lunch, I cut down on dinner to balance my whole day diet. Most imptly, plan with light diet.

lynn, u can do many hairdo coz morn u wear WG can put on tiara n veil. Later change into teadress and ask jiemei to change tiara into sth else. I put roses for my gerfrd tat time. Evening time, WG put flowers oso can. EG ask jiemei to help change loh.

but my schemeing MIL sure try to press my head down during the tea ceremony one, and i dun wan to kneel before them too... very sickening family... if i waer tiara, dun think she would try messing up the hair rite? if my normal PS hairdo press the head also nevermind, so she would do tat one..

now turning into a schemeing bride to think of how to not kneel down for tea ceremony (cos evil MIL doesn't wish us well anyway) and how to siam if she tries to press my head down.
