Have confirmed at Laguna Country Club, something a bit different from the norm. The food there is actually by Tung Lok, cos' they have a agreement to run Pine Valley Restaurant for Laguna for a few more years before handing it over, so the food should be good.
Still having too much fun going around the boutiques and trying on dresses to stop and just choose one though... but so far my favourites are Emmanuel B and Dang. =P
Heard from loads of ppl that Flamingo and KAI do really beautiful dresses too, so I'm real glad that golden is a flamingo bride.
Please tell me why you chose Flamingo.... is it the price or the design? Is it pricey? I loved Dang, but I think will need to stretch the 4k ceiling we're setting for ourselves...

Ai yo, dun talk abt it, din even shop around. Signed up the bridal studio at a fair. Hubby like the PS. Mine is not those designers-type studio. I have to give my designer samples of what i want and we work on it thereafter. Din really regret, cos the design i want is quite different from those in S'pore so i get to be 'my own designer' in a way. erm.. Can't really do this with the 'established' designers.
My WG is done, i got the idea from a States online boutique. It's V-neck with low back. The special thing is the train, which is not a common design in s'pore. Can't describe in words. I guess i want something that is classic such that in 10 yrs time my kids wont laugh at my wedding photos haha... The WG is also selected to hide my tummy, draw attention away from my waist and make me look taller. I'm quite petite. Now thinking of the design of EG i want.

Share some experience with u all (Personal feeling la):
Dang: Find them good beading and embrio. I also do lots of craft works on beadings and crystals, thus really appreciate Cindy and Dang work.
Flamango: Heard tt their gowns are nice but nothing catches my eyes OTR. No attention given to me and Shirleen did not reply my mail...dun know why, no chemistry.
Kai: Did not hop in. Had friend w Kai and they only got her gown out very last minute, making her so 'kan cheong'! Gowns are nice though.
Allure: Very nice OTR gowns at S$599. One design only 3 pcs. Almost wanted to get from them but after adding up the cost of other stuff, the same. Thus did not take it up. Very good service too.
Le galleria: Very nice embrio gown. I try the most gowns there... almost 10 over pcs cos my friend keep throwing to me But package a bit steep for me cos start fr 4.1K.
The Wedding Present: Try a few of the gowns... Patrick is also a very creative designer. But not so much chemistry felt w him.
Jazzel low and Yvonne Creative: Did not really like the design after trying. Also photography skill, my hubby dun really like.
I think very important is the feeling u hv when toking to the designer. IF u feel good, tt's it.

Is actually e same as forum just that you've to log in to YAHOO GROUP all the time and check yr mailbox every now & then. Also, you only sent msg to yr own group of people and not for public viewing! So only dos who are in your group will get the msg...

I have a frenz who din like all the gowns in the studio, but she managed to design the gowns herself, and it turns out very nice...
think must need a lot research and creative skills before u can design a gown u love..u must be very happy that u get a chance to design ur own gown..Unfortunately, i m not those that is creative..

Agreed with what rabbit said, feelings is very important. Though i din go hunting for bridal stuff, but i followed friends around. U can consider Silhouette, i like the EG my friend wore. Service not bad too.
One thing to find out, has the appearance of the album change? I observe from my frens' albums, the quality not as gd i remember (from my older cousins' time). The pages are made of soft paper, which i find can tear easily. Is this the new trend? Not tt gd leh, must be very careful, esp bringing to wedding banquet for display.

The msg will be posted at Yahoo Group (under Message) as well as a copy to yr email address. But is like Sporebride forum you just have to log in once then leave it on, every now & then you just refresh to check whether anyone reply to yr msg? All the msg will be saved in there...... u can view/delete e msg in yr mailbox whereas Yahoo Group (under Message) will stl have a copy in there.
Hahaha... hope is not so confusing but i find is quite fast and effective. But don't get a shock when you see yr mailbox has got 50+ msgs cos is all from the Yahoo Group Message. Usually what I'll do is go to my mailbox n jus delete it away then to Yahoo Group Message to read the posting.
