Hi Miyako, congratulations! We took our pre wedding photo at Taiwan, Just signed AD photography & videography + photobooth with The Aisle @ BOWS.. Banquet @ Furama City Centre ^^

Hi... I am getting married in 2018 early Jan/ Feb... I went to bows too but didn manage to check out the hotels at bows.. Too rush for us

Im a Jan Bride too, finally settle my venue, next is e bridal etccc stuff. Anyone doing luncheon ? Im doing lunch, and alot of ppl has commented it will be very rush blah blah....

so far only booked the venue and still sourcing for a bridal package. Went to the 1 studio few days ago and heard we have to do pur PW shoots latest in June and the coordinator sounded like we're pretty slow in our planning. Haha!

Hello! Personally I felt I am pretty slow too, but sourcing for venue is really painful. I just went to Furama RiverFront.
I'm just curious if it is normal for us to pay full the banquet one week before the actual day. I feared that after paying they won't give us the best. What's worst, the sales manager told us, is the same policy as buying an air ticket, you pay first before you board the plane. =_=!

Wow that's not very nice of the coordinator. So far, I din hear of this policy. Those venues that I went to, all told us that full payment (minus deposit) is only required upon checking out.

So far I only heard one degree 15 need to pay full before banquet but not for Furama riverfront. Tat time i gt go down before they say after banquet then pay oh..
I think if you're alr uncomfortable with them, then don't go for it. It's very importable to trust them and be comfortable around them. Otherwise u might feel unhappy while planning your wedding and also on ur AD

Wow how can your coordinator say that. Zz so you've made full payment already?
Hmm i went to a few venue before confirming mine at Regent. All the other hotels payment terms is balance to be made upon checkout or after banquet ended. Even restaurant is the same policy, balance after banquet ends, like peony jade because my bff held her wedding there too.

Ya we were shocked. I think will try to negotiate about that. I checked Regent too and felt it was a little more costly, though the food is not too bad.
I am still sourcing too and can't find one that doesn't really burn the pocket.
Have already booked hotel n bridal last 2 mths! If u were to get married in jan 2018, i tink is best to find it fast! Cause i realise alot of dates are booked really quick.

Hmm ya.. and they are fully booked really fast. But if you're interested, can look at their other function rooms for a smaller scale wedding too. Their service is really good as compared to other hotels we've been to n also the main reason, we can have our pet dog to march in with us n stayover after the banquet
Hmm maybe you can look at marina mandarin? Price cheaper and can consider their 2nd level function room, their ballroom 1st flr need min 30 tables.
