Hi sofie, i engaged alanmitchi before i came to know about the missing pieces. so in order not to forfeit the deposit, i just go ahead with the separate vendors. But i think its reasonable (:

just to share.

I signed three bridal pkges because I did not do my research n was kinda "force" by pushy SA.

but all in all, I want to recommend Yvonne Creative which in the end allows us to "not pay the full amt, just the deposit" as we went back to talk to them abt cancellation if ever possible;)

lucky thing is YC daughter Tiffany is so nice and helpful to allow us to cancel the full package but just take whatever we want using the deposit.

she's helpful and YC has massive group of gowns. Give it a try if u gals want a reputable bridal studio.
 
hi.. im new here.. juz that i went down to Louvre Bridal and she quote us $5.8k for thematic concept pre wedding shoot.. is that too ex or becoz it is customise so that the price is suppose to be this.?

OMG. 3 bridal package! My sister got YC back then. The service is good. I went down many times with my sis to choose and fit the gown, I must say, they have massive group of gowns but slightly old. Personally nth caught my eye. But might be different for others. Must go down and see then will able to know. :)

Depend what it is included. For me I feel that is slightly ex. As in not within the budget I'm looking at. :)

Hi Pastry,

I signed with LVB too. My package is about the same and sadly not much perks given.
Whether is expensive anot, that depends on what are included and what you are paying for?
If you got budget constraint, LVB prices maybe will be out of budget.
Previously, we went comparing a few bridals and LVB is one of the higher end, but not the highest though. (The highest quote I had is close to $10k for designer gowns and just prewedding photography!)

But for me and my partner, we decided to go for quality and service, but of course at reasonable price that we can still afford.
We willingly pay a bit more to prevent end up any regrets as we don't dare to risk our wedding. Many are cheaper than LVB, however photos and service not as good though.
I helped my friend's wedding and LVB left us an impression. So we felt relieved to trust them when is our turn.

Meaning that it is all studio? If yes then that's really quite expensive. :/

You can start looking maybe next month onwards if you are worried the photographer that meets yr style is not avaliable on yr wedding date?

The rates will increase yearly so better to find before end of this year =)

I found mine 14 months before my wedding date =)

Ps: Better dun negotiate too much discount with photographer or go for too low rates. The quality of photos of yr AD is more impt =)

Master Long or Master Tong :) Master Long will give u 3 years worth of dates and he will guide you thoroughly through all the process such as An Chuang etc and give you some mini tips to prevent Xiao 3 ;)
