My suggestion is to pick an outdoor location with epic indoor background depending on your theme. Like shopping mall or even yacht club.

It will be more special than typical indoor shots
 


am now fretting over hotels. not sure whether to sign up with Hilton or wait for Pan Pac's wedding show. had never attended any weddings at both hotels before so very hard to decide which hotel has better food. any comments for both hotels?
 
Finally, my htb and i have settled our banquet venue and bridal for 1 Jul 17.
Venue: Orchard Hotel
Bridal: Whitelink Bridal

We were attracted to Orchard Hotel because of their cash rebate. For Whitelink Bridal, the sales person,Li Ping, was able to throw in things and lower the price to what we were comfortable.

Mine would be all the photos as well and edited. However, he can only promise to return the photos 2 months later as he need time to edit

He told me easily 500 to 700......anyway dun worry on quantity. Most important is quality of photos.

You will need to be very specific before AD on what kind of photos you want to be taken.

Like when makeup artist is putting eyeshadow for you and so on.

Been busy with all the preparations and got almost everything settled! Going for ala carte as I got Pre-wedding photography overseas so best option for AD is to go ala-carte since AD Gown rental only from bridal shops are pretty expensive compared to Pre-wedding + AD packages. Here are the vendors I selected after 6 months of sourcing! Hope this will be useful to any other brides planning :)

AD gowns: Gowns Villa (boutique home bridal with good quality gowns and meticulous boss who takes care of all the details in her works. Went to several places like Bqueens, Aisle Bridal, The Bridal Room, Rico, K gowns etc before confirming on this!)
AD Photography: Mooworks (sister company of moomedia with good shots that brings out the feeling and emotions of the couple. Good deals if u get the early bird combined with their current promotions)
AD Videography: Beyondpictures (Specialises in Videography only and the way their videos are edited and music added never fail to bring out the story of the couples. They do not arrange the video in the actual sequence of events like always start with gatecrashing but look at all the happenings of the day and the style of each couple before editing to tell the story of that couple. Unique to every couple!)
Wedding Singers: Shili&Adi (fantastic duo, a little jazz style. Just watch their videos in YouTube n u can come if they are the style u like or listen to them live at beer mkt etc)
Wedding props: IM-PERFECTION (packages that are convenient and fuss-free. Discounts available if u get more than 1 package)

How much is the rental of gowns from Gowns Villa? You rent 1 or 2 gowns?
How much in total did you spend for ala carte?

My AD photographer provides all the photos edited and some of the photos will be treated in a different style. total around 400+ photos. agree with JuzDream, don't worry about quantity, I have a friend that got back 1000plus photos, but more than half she don't like and she even deleted them.

Anyway just wondering if you ladies know if is it common that the raw return DVD for the video from cinematographers to comes without a bg song but just simple editing?

Totally agreed on the pushiness and the hidden terms that they didn't publish for the KTO promotion.. wasnt too pleasant thou

I rented mine from The Gown Warehouse upon purchasing the AD package. I think most bridal package will let you rent for FREE if you get their AD package ;)

I may actually advise you to purchase it online. renting a short wedding dress may not be as cost efficient.

market rate varies too much. the gown i did at Divine is around 2-2.5k. photographers i have seen 1200-3000+, video 1200-4000+.

Hi petite bride, The Missing Pieces provides videography also, may I know why you only took up their photography service? Alanmitchi is very costly :(

I thought 2.8k is quite reasonable? Sorry not too sure what's the market price... And I thought that the topping up of gowns etc are all common practices in the bridal industry... :/

At least my bridal shop do not request me to top up for any ball gown chosen. Coz my package is slightly above average.....i rather pay more upfront without the need to top up in future to be honest. My package original cost was $3.8k but reduced to $3.3k

True. Work very busy. Stress at this moment for preparation. Next week will go survey bridal shop for the pre wedding package. Hotel, MUA, photographer all booked.
