Hi! Mine is on 05 Nov. Do you have any feedback regarding the venue?
Haven't been there since last June. Not a grand place but I like e cozy feel of the ballroom. Since I sign the package there have been 3 change of mgr. Currently I'm liaising with Roy, pretty satisfied! His replies are prompt.

Thanks @Clzh for sharing!

Anyone doing their tea ceremony at the hotel instead? I don't know whether to do it at our own home or the hotel...

I prefer the hotel as the "decoration" will be nicer (banking on an early check-in at bridal suite so can do it there).

Any thoughts ladies?

tea ceremony for bride side at my home. Groom ceremony at hotel but they provide a smaller ballroom for it and not inside the room

I am doing my tea ceremony in the hotel as well.
My hotel will be providing us with the tea sets so we thought of doing it there will be easier and more convenient as well.

I'm having a lunch reception and is currently looking for quality buffet caterer... Getting mixed reviews on caterers such as Orange Clove, How's catering, chilli api, and rasel.
Anyone has any recommendations? TIA!

Initially, we wanted to go with chilli api too. He likes the food. But found something cheaper so we are likely to go with Elsie's..

I am overwhelmed

My wedding date in Jun and I haven't done

Hi fatjojohead and brides who are not having gatecrash - I am not having gatecrash too because my partner and I personally do not find the games meaningful and the last thing we want to trouble our friends. But I am worried because if there is no gatecrash, does that mean the groom will fetch me from my house "quietly"?? Wouldn't that seem very boring? You know what I mean??

I totally get you... I thought so too.. That is why I suggested playing games before leaving the house. Then again, who plays game and makes so much noise early in the morning?! So.. ok.. quiet affair.. He is coming to get me then bye..

I find that neo garden's food is good! Especially the curry.

Agreed.. I plan to get Neo Garden as well for my place to cater for my relatives early lunch after the tea ceremony.. Maybe for my htb's side also.. Their food is good..

Ladies, I am still struggling with the plan for tea ceremony, which is weird becos it sounds like a relatively simple thing to do. Haha

My situation is like this - I prefer to do tea ceremony in the hotel as the "decor" is nicer and we (couple) just have to visit 1 location to get it done. But my biggest concern is, after tea ceremony, still so early, where are we expecting all the relatives to go??! My partner and I can chill at the bridal suite or even head out to take pics but what about both side relatives? I do have 1 helper room but don't think its a good idea to cramp all of them inside. Would holding the tea ceremony in hotel inconvenience the relatives?

Situation 2- If i choose the convention method, go bride and groom's place (2 location) to do tea ceremony, how can I have lunch with both side if I cater buffet? They will be in separate location, isn't it?

Pardon my ignorance but seems like I haven't found the "perfect" tea ceremony process. Hehe

Appreciate your thoughts! Thanks.

Anyone used La Fiori before? We've met both CC Lee and La Fiori, both are pretty similar in terms of arrangements and color schemes. Dunno how we should make a decision.

Does the florist herself matters? Or it shouldn’t matter since we are taking the standard package from either of them, and because the setup won’t be done by the florist (I assume it’ll be done by the assistants, and maybe only the VIP arrangement will be done by the florist).

Hello, any btb not have gatecrash?
My htb & I decide to opt out for gatecrash but we are still having brothers and sisters to help us with the evening event.
Any suggestions for morning activities other than gatecrash?
Me me me. Htb not keen to have it. So we're not going to have this. So far just the tea session or gathering. Den at night dinner banquet . tentatively that's our program.

Anyone got reasonable priced MUA for mothers/sisters? Preferably around $80 per pax.

I engaged Gin Chia as my mua for all my events and my wedding. I'm married twice and both weddings I engaged her! Hehee... Very friendly and experienced lady with awesome makeup skills. In fact a lot of my friends engaged her after seeing my makeup. Ermmm if I'm not wrong I think her charges for makeup for my mum and sis was $100 coz I have makeup package with her.

I had Cass as my make up artist for my ROM. Would also be engaging her for my actual day.. My family and relatives commented that the make up looks v natural and good....:)

So lucky~ I finally signed on to Fleur D'sign but as I took too long to confirm my package, Cass was not available on my date. Will be getting their external makeup artist instead. Saw her work and it was not bad too.. =)
Christina was very good about helping me decide and make some modifications on my white gown and I have already fallen in love with an evening gown too.. =D

Wondering any July'16 BTB around here?
Time is ticking, but in fact still a lot have yet to buy or order..

Just to check with you ladies, will you still buy those traditional sets of 过大礼,安床,嫁妆 ah?
Heard from a gf that in fact don't need to get whole sets, just those that "needs" to use on the AD then buy..
